| Located just a few yards from the Sky Tower and 6 Blocks from the Viaduct waterfront, this hotel has an ideal location at a reasonable price. The service is good, the breakfast fullfilling, the internet works, there is a small gym. The hotel is busy with tour groups mostly. The rooms were above average and comfortable.

| Had a wonderful room on the 11th floor with a view of the viaduct harbor. We stayed for one week and were very satisfied with the condition and service at this hotel. Would definitely go back.

| Rydges had good rooms in a good downtown location for a reasonable price compared to other options. I travel to Auckland a couple of times a year & now I've stayed there, I'll go back to Rydges.
