| There were three couples and we all readily agree that the hotel was lovely, service excellent, rooms clean and airy... and we ate our dinner and breakfast in the restaurant(s) there. Both were excellent! We were just a few blocks from the Lincoln Museum and enjoyed both evening and daytime strolls in the area.

| hotel was pretty pricy for the services it offered. THe air conditioning was not that cool. Lastly for the price of the room we only had a 20 inch television. I thought the accomodations could have been better.

| Hotel was not as clean as I would like. The curtains in our room were falling off the windows. The carpet was disgusting, we all had to leave our shoes on. However the pool was very nice.

| Due to an administrative error, the hotel had us checked out a day early (difficult because we prepaid) and never made up our room. We told the maid and she said she would report it to housekeeping. When we went out to dinner we again told them to make-up the room. It was never done. When we got back, we called to complain and they said they would send someone up. We waited about 15 minutes and then cancelled because we wanted to go to sleep. The manager did give us a free breakfast. The couple we went with had no problems. The location was excellent for our downtown sightseeing, but many of the areas shops and restaurants are closed on Sundays.

| We got a wonderful rate through Expedia, but when we got to the hotel we were given a smoking room (a non-smoking had been requested). Fortunately, the front desk could change it for us. However, when we got to our non-smoking room, there was a smell of smoke, so I called the desk and they were very accommodating about moving us to another room. What we noticed: The rooms were over due for painting, but the linens were fresh looking and clean. We asked for a refrigerator in our room, but could not get one. We were within reach of everything -- the "new" and old Capitol buildings, the new Lincoln Museum, the Governor's Mansion, etc. There is also a bus that loops around to all the Lincoln sites (for $3 for a day of unlimited rides) and it stops right in front of the hotel. The pool is small, but most of the time we used it there were few others around, so it was amply sized for us.The adjacent parking garage was reasonable($6 per day). Because the Hotel almost gave us a smoking room, I am not sure I would stay there again for health reasons; but, if the Hotel could work out a guarantee of a non-smoking request through Expedia, we would assuredly return.

| I expected quite a bit more for a 3.5 star hotel. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed, definitely not a 3.5-4 star quality. The restaurant is very overpriced, but good quality. They have valet service, if you can find the valet. My shower curtain looked like it had not been cleaned in years, with stains and spots.

| We booked the hotel through Expedia. When we checked in we were told our room would be a smoking room. We don't smoke and had two young boys with us. The person who checked us in told us since we booked through Expedia she could do nothing about it.She had no nonsmoking rooms available. There was a strong odor of smoke in the room. Other than that the hotel was good.

| Overall a nice hotel, centrally located. Housekeeping missed my room one day on a five night stay, and failed to restock the in-room coffee service another day, but was otherwise fine. Spacious room, quiet hotel, attentive bellmen, helpful staff.

| The beds were too small. When you book a room at a 4 star plus hotel, the smallest size bed should at least be queen size. We had full or double size and 2 people cannot comfortably sleep in this size bed.
