| Within walking distance to the subway, Darling Harbor, Royal Botanical Gardens, museums and grocery store. The room was small but adequate and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful in making restaurant suggestions. My only complaint is that the night traffic was not well blocked out by the windows. But I always bring ear plugs.

| SYD - The hotel its self was a bit dumpy (but very clean). It was an older hotel with very old bathrooms. But the absolute perfect location made up for it! Two minutes from the train, we didn't use a taxi once. We would actually spend the day out and about, take the train back to hotel, get cleaned up, and go to the ROCKS (6 minutes by train) or THE QUAY(10 minutes by train) for dinner. You could not ask for a better location. There was also a grocery store (in downtown Sydney) right across the street. We saved a bundle on food, our room had a small fridge. The grocery store Walgreens (not like ours) also had some hot foods, so we ate a few dinners there when we were exhausted. Don't plan on using the pool at the hotel, even in 90 degree heat, it was freezing. It is on the roof and while the view was breath taking, the wind made it too cold to swim. The hotel has permanent residents, so it had a laundry room on the roof. What a lifesaver! The staff was excellent, very friendly and full of info for an American. I would stay again.
