| After a difficult day of traveling, I hoped for a comfortable room to relax in. When I checked into the hotel, London was experiencing a heat wave of 100 degrees. I arrived, checked in and discovered the room did not have air conditioning. You will be provided a fan that you can not place in front of the window. Needless to say the shower in the bathroom that had been painted over and was now peeling did not do much good. After spending the most I had spent on a meal while in London a week earlier I finally feel a sleep, only to be woken at 4:30 a.m. as the one airplane after another made their landing at Heathrow. The Hotel is in a questionable neighborhood with no services within walking distance. The room was outdated and the air vents to the rooms hosted nesting birds. I think it is safe to say, Ramada outside the U.S. does not have the same standards.
