| This 17th century coaching inn has been carefully restored by the present owner. Many of the original features remain; the old stone archway in reception the flagstone floors and the leaded windows in the original surrounds. Heavily influenced by the art and crafts movement the fabrics have been chosen to reflect the bold colorful patterns which William Morris was famous for creating. The bedrooms are a mixture of country style in the main house and business class in the new wing. All rooms have Sky TV, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary turndown on request, tiled bathrooms and shower. Additional extras in the business class rooms include large well lit work spaces, modem points, and king-sized beds. The bathrooms have green and cream tiles, power showers and heated towel rails The restaurant serves Modern British cooking and the chef specializes in using local seasonal produce, the Cocktail lounge and the Garden room are perfect for relaxing and taking afternoon tea, whilst the Grizzly Bar offers the guest a more relaxed atmosphere and serves traditional British ales. The car park has space for over 100 cars and the croquet lawn and gardens provide the perfect spot for catching the sun in the afternoon.
