| At first glance the hotel looks out of place on a street such as Market. once inside the hotel you realize that it is an old building, with a an even older elevator. service was great until I was told that the room that I had reserved was no longer available. I was shocked. I asked was I supposd to call in ealier to confirm, not nesscessary I was told. In fairness the gentleman offered to give myself and my two friends two rooms instead of the one, but on different floors-not much fun when you want to hang out and party. we were then given a king bed, comfortable, yes, but the floor was sinking in at the foot of the bed. very nervous to walk on the floor. bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke from the street. overall, my experience was just okay.

| Comfortable European style with a nice city feel. On Market and near 'stuff' if you want ot do that city thing. Just satyed a nice romantic weekend and holed up. Comfortable room at a great price and same day availibility for me. Even the city street noises weren't too bothersome adding to the charm. Great information available at the front desk on local dining. Enjoyed the windows that really open to the fresh air. A real plus. Will put on my list of inexpensive places to return to.

| We went on our honeymoon,it turned out to be a great choice. Location was great for getting to shops and the city pass attractions ( get a city pass!) the brazilian steak house on the corner was excellent the shop across the street for breakfast was excellent the service at the hotel was excellent. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to walk out the door of the hotel and end the night with "man I had the best time tonight!" stay at this hotel.

| A great experience from A to Z. The staff were very friendly, they went out of their way to help us. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The bathrooms are new and mondern. Perfect location in the heart of San Francisco near all sites and activities. The price was reasonable. Staff were very helpfull in suggesting activities in the city and giving directions. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby. I will surely go back.

| When I arrived, although the service was fine, I was completely let down by this hotel. I'm used to staying at boutique hotels (I actually prefer them), but these rooms were extremely tiny. Not only that, but the first room I was given was a complete mess. There were flies everywhere, and trash under the bed. It was obvious that the cleaning service barely touched the place. I'd be surprised if the sheets were changed. I will NEVER visit the Edwardian again.

| I was very pleased with my stay at the Edwardian hotel. I got to the hotel late, it was pouring rain, tired, but I received a good sevice from the person at the desk, he was very friendly, he even upgraded me to a room with a jaccuzi tub for no extra charge. The room was very clean, quiet and realy european style decor, I felt like I was back home in europe in one of the small boutique hotels in the Provence. Overall I think it was a great value, the rate was inbelievebly low for what I got. It is the first time I booked a hotel with expedia and it was realy a good deal. I will go back to the Edwardian hotel and recomend it to anybody.

| i Always try and stay downtown San Francisco, This was my first time staying at this Hotel. The only time the heat in the room is on, its controlled by the hotel It was freezing. Being a women, windows dont lock, no dead bolts on the doors. Would not recommend. Room is noisy from the street, had to wear earplugs to sleep! Desk staff are friendly!!!
