I have stayed at a couple of different hotels and this one is the best. Except for waiting over an hour for the room to be ready on check in day it was a fabulous room. While waiting they gave me 2 free drinks in the Piano bar. So that was worth the wait. Great place to stay while in Singapore.

When I checked into this hotel I noticed that there was a sagging cieling in the bathroom and water stains running down the wall. On the second day of my stay, water started pouring out of the same area of the bathroom cieling at 7am. I had to wait for two hours for the repairs to be fixed before I could use the bathroom. I was not offered another room or any compensation.

Under newer management, the executive floor "club" is well organized, customer-focused, personalized, and a solid investment. Generous and delicious made-to-order breakfasts and afternoon drinks and appetizers a plus.

This was my tenth trip to Singapore and I found the Grand Copthorne hotel customer service is the worst compare to other hotels that I stayed previously. Most reception desk employees are poorly trained.

Except for its slightly out of central business district location, this hotel is by far the best I have stayed for its price in Asia. Great for vacationers because of the picturous riverwalks behind and the 3 discos beside which were packed every single night I was there. Seems for taxi scarce Singapore, this place didn`t have problems flagging one down. Rooms are really 5 star quality.

It was one of the best hotels we have stayed in on our long trip. The staff were polite and friendly; any problems attended to quickly. They even gave us a very late check out because my husband was ill, and did not charge for it.
