| Having used Amerisuites and having enjoyed my visits in the past, I was totally disappointed in the overall condition existing now. I found the deadlock not working properly, I found garbage in the hallway that was left there overnight, the toilet was not funtioning properly and the television was not properly wired for the advertised HBO and other channels that were listed.

| This hotel is ok, but severely needs maintenance. It's obvious that it suffered from being overrun with evacuees from New Orleans, but the sofa bed was broken and the desk clerk indicated almost all of them were. Most of the equipment in the fitness center was inoperable.

| This was a nice hotel for the price. The room was spacious with 2 double beds and a sleeper sofa, plus a kitchenette. Not two separate rooms, but a divider between the two beds and the sofa/kitchen area. The continental breakfast was more than your typical donuts. They actually had eggs and sausage and waffles, too. Plus a free USA Today paper. Can't beat that for the price. Plus it is right across the street from the Mall of Louisiana and 2 exits from Blue Bayou Water Park. Overall, a great pick for the money.

| We have been at Amerisuites in other Texas cities, always having good experiences but we were disapointted with the confort and overall satisfaction with the hotel in Baton Rouge. Our reservation was no honored and we have to take a smoking room, and the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children) in a very small room with a queen bed and a broken sleeping sofa. We got there almost at midnight so we had no more choices. It was terrible! We let kids sleeping on the bed and we had to take the mattres out of the broken and smeely sofa and lay it on the floor. There are many options for hotels that after this really bad experience, we are not going to stay at Amerisuites any more. Sorry.
