| I have stayed elsewhere and been much more satisfied for the price. We are smokers, but upon arriving, the floor was soaking with a frebreze-like substance. Made for a nice scent, but terrible on the socks after removing shoes from a long day. We repeatedly had to have the room keys re-programmed (very inconvenient), was over-looked the first day for room cleaning, wireless service was horribly unreliable and made working (combined business/personal trip) very difficult. Some may be less tolerant of the frequent train that passes multiple times a day/nite. If you didn't hear the horn, you'd think there was a minor earthquake. Great access to southbound 101 freeway. Staff was very nice and apologetic for the key and lack of cleaning service. Convenient to have the refrig in the room. Former CA resident and will select another location the next time - even if the cost is more.

| It is located near downtown but still close to the beach. Service was very friendly. Average but with some amenities. A little too close to the railroad.

| This motel was centrally located in downtown Ventura; the staff was pleasant and efficient, the continental breakfast featured more than most, with ready to bake waffles as well as muffins and cereal, etc. The room was extremely clean and the place felt very safe.

| The one thing that I didn't like was that the train ran right behind my room. And it would blow it's whistle when it went by in the middle of the night. Woke me up a couple times and I just about jumped through the roof.

| I could feel the train going by my window all night long and there were several people having a party both nights I was there. The walls were so thin I could hear every word my neighbor said. And the worst part were all the bars on the windows, I felt very unsafe. My bathroom window was see transparent and no way to cover it while I showered. I wish I would have stayed at Motel 6.
