The Iroquois Amenities
The 12-floor Iroquois offers a French-American restaurant, 24-hour room service, complimentary New York Times, complimentary coffee and tea in the library, and overnight shoe shine. Personal trainers are available by appointment in the fitness center, and the front desk will take care of business services such as faxing or copying.

Features
What to expect: Corporate executives and cosmopolitan vacationers are frequent guests at the Iroquois, where classic European décor blends with warm hospitality. Complimentary iced tea and cider are offered at check-in and the paneled library off the lobby is as welcoming as a home study. The manager makes a point of meeting guests, half of whom are repeat visitors.

Amenity highlights: With only 11 rooms per floor, the Iroquois has an intimate atmosphere and personal touches that allow guests to feel at home. They may borrow books, videos, or CDs from the hotel's collections, check their e-mail free of charge, and have 24-hour access to room service and fitness center with Finnish-style sauna.

Insider tip: On Wednesdays and Fridays, visitors may take free tours of the restored Grand Central Terminal, an architectural marvel 4 blocks from the hotel. Stars twinkle once again in its vast vaulted ceiling and the brass clock, chandeliers and marble stairs are as magnificent as when the building opened in 1913.

Triomphe - This understated, well-regarded restaurant features pale contemporary décor, intimate seating for 50, and innovative French/American cuisine at lunch and dinner. Sample dishes include seared Muscovy duck with coriander-honey glaze and sauteed mango; grilled salmon with truffled fava bean crostini and goat cheese.

Le Petit Triomphe - Breakfast is served in this separate dining room, which can also be used for private functions.

The hotel has great staff, comfortable beds, and a good overall feel. DVDs are free at the desk and the staff is chatty and helpful. The location makes the Iriquois the perfect place to stay for the traveler who is looking for safe, clean, comfortable surroundings without downright ostentatious ammenities. You get to experience of a luxery hotel without all the pomp and circumstance.

A small, boutique hotel. Friendly staff. The room was small, but very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The beds were amazing!

The hotel staff was very attentive and accomodating. The location was also great! You can walk a couple of blocks to the Theatre District/ Times Square or walk the other direction and do some shopping on 5th. Thumbs up.

The room and hotel were very small, but the location was convenient. The service was very good, from the turn-down service to the concierge to the limo driver. We liked the location as well, doors down from a great breakfast diner.

For our first trip tp NY, didn't know what to expect hotel wise. The accomodations were clean, the staf friendly, and location awesome. there was however, no exhaust fan in the bathroom which made the entire room a little uncomfortable after 2 showers. There were also not the stanadard toiletries provided, and I didn't bring them, so I had to buy which was a mess to. In all, knowing now what to nring, I may go back, or try another next time. But overall, a nice Very clean stay.

Great location in the Theater District, parking available, small but excellent restaurant - bathroom doors don't shut but in such a teeny room privacy is compromised anyway! Charming, clean, great location.
