| The hotel is older, but they have done some upgrades. It was okay, but far from my expectations. It was not convenient to anything. My recommendation, if you are going to Charleston, go ahead and stay downtown and get the Charleston experience.

| The room was kept clean, but the hotel amenities where lacking. Swimming pool was unavailable for 2 of the 3 nights I stayed, and then it was not in top shape for swimming. We reported that someone had spilled wasing detergent in the elevator and down the hall. It was not cleaned up until 24 hours later.
