I was happy with my stay here. The room was clean and not too small. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for my trip, and it is not too far from a metro station. Overall, it met my expectations for a hotel in Paris.

The best location for the price. Small clean rooms. Nice hotel staff. The rooms all open up on a very small court yard that sound travels all around. You can hear all normal conversations in the other rooms at night. I would stay here again

I'm always thankful to have other reviewers' comments - so feel compelled. The location can't be beat. Everything (metro, le Louvre, Notre Dame, Seine, Musee d'Orsay, etc.) was within easy walking distance. Restaurants and shopping abound, all within 2-20 mins walk. Absolutely perfect for the average traveler. The room had much to be desired. Bare bulb light fixtures, a lamp hanging from an electric cord, garage sale furnishings, etc. The clean bathroom kept us there. The extraordinarly helpful staff was wonderful. We received wonderful guidance in French and English. Agree - no need to eat breakfast downstairs for the pricey Euro.

We were pleased with the Crystal Hotel. The staff was curtious and very helpful. They speak very good english, which made communicating a lot easier. And the price for our room was very reasonable. It's location in the Latin Quarter is just perfect. Many restaurants and shops are within a few yards of the hotel, and the Metro is just a block away. St. Germain de Pres' church is just one block over as well. All-in- all our visit was made even better by staying at the Crystal Hotel.
