| I stayed this July'06 and hotel was very crowded and very dirty. Check in took 2 hours and I did not get what I requested (a room w/2 beds)Instead I got a sofabed which I had to make every day because staff was to busy to do. Sofa was very dirty and had lots of sand accumulated. Shower room was not leveled properly and water did not drain completely. Pool was very dirty, lots of sand deposits, staff did not clean it properly. Hotel next door looked a lot better and cleaner

| The hotel is good but the food was terrible. We were four people and all our dishes were poor. We decided to eat outside of the hotel.

| We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Emporio at Spring Break with our 15 & 16 yr-old kids. Our room was nice, not luxurious, but clean. We could hear noise from the outside hallway & the A/C was noisy. The staff was friendly, the lobby and pool deck were very nice, great beach access, and great location for dining out. They could use some help with check-in/check-out procedures - extremely slow! We only ate lunch at the hotel and it was pretty good. Many great dining options just across the street. We'd recommend the Hotel Emporio as a nice, but not luxurious hotel.
