The Conrad was a beautiful hotel with many great qualities. The people that work there seem to really enjoy their jobs. I truly had a great experience there and would recommend anyone to the Conrad Chicago.

The Conrad Hilton was absolutely fanstastic. We were able to check-in at 8am and check-out at 2:30pm. The staff was wonderful. The food was great in the restaurant as well. We traveled with our children and they made sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying on Michigan Avenue.

I was actually surprised that this was the standard room. It large, clean, and well decorated. The bathroom was huge, with a stall shower, a massive soaking tub, and a separate powder room. The staff was helpful, friendly, and professional in the lobby, and the housekeeping was quiet on our floor. The location was close to restaurants and shopping, and a short walk to the subway or el. I would stay there again, the elevator set-up is goofy, making you change halfway up to your room, but so what?

I have been to chicago many times and I can tell you this hotel was great. There where four of us in one room and there was still lots of room. We spread out and never ran into each other. The maid service was great she even lined up all of ours shoes and with 4 women that was a lot of shoes. The front desk was the best. They helped with everything. They had great personalitys never saw a frown. I will try from now on to go back and stay with them..

The Conrad staff was profressional and courteous. There was a tiny mistake with our minibar and not only did they correct it, they sent a card up to apologize, accompanied by a plate of fresh fruit. Very comfortable rooms and it is really perfectly situated. We had a great stay.

The Conrad is in a great location -- about a block from Michigan Avenue -- and is first-rate in every respect: excellent, responsive service; clean and nicely-appointed rooms; beautiful common areas and restaurant; and literally adjacent to a shopping mall. We were disappointed at first that our room was close to an elevator, since in the past that has meant lots of noise, but the insulation was so good we didn't hear a sound. But keep in mind that most of the patrons are on expense accounts, and money for them is no object. If, like me, you balk at paying $16 or more for a muffin and coffee, you'll want to eat elsewhere, and avoid any extra room charges, all of which are very high. That makes the hotel a tad less convenient than it might otherwise be. Fortunately, there are plenty of cheaper places to eat within walking distance.

Very good location. Clean and comfortable hotel with plenty of the in room perks that help to make your stay memorable. My only complaint is that they don't leave complimentary coffee out in the lobby after 6:30 a.m.

The hotel and its amenities were wonderful. The only down-side was that we were late being placed in our room. We arrived at 1:00 and were told that it would be ready no later than 2:15. When we returned at 2:30, we were told it wasn't quite ready but would be in about 10 minutes. One hour later, we were finally in our room. Overall, though, it was a fabulous hotel and we would stay there again.
