| Everything was great with exception of Fairfield making numerous attempts at selling time shares. A little strict with the check-out time...there is a charge if you don't return your room cards/keys and you're not checked out by the designated time.

| The room was beautiful, nice location and the staff was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay with the exception of the 3 hour timeshare presentation that was disguised as a hotel evaluation with a $50 cash incentive. Upon check in the individual handing out parking passes tries to sign you up immediately for a "free meal" which is in reality an aggressive time share sales pitch. Unless you plan on spending about $18,000 on your vacation, do not agree to meet with anyone for an evaluation of the hotel. This aspect of the stay was very disappointing.

| When I walked into the lobby the first thing I saw was a sign that said No Exceptions referring to check out time. To check in I had to sign agreements to pay fines if I check out after 10 AM, do not have my key with me at when checking out, and for any damage they find after I check out that they did not find before. When I got to the room the walls were scuffed and had liquid stains, the faucet dripped and the freezer had holes melted in the bottom. The couch faced the door and was at a 45 degree angle to the TV. The phones are the old type with a big read blinking light to signify messages. There were no directions on how to delete the week of messages that had built up, all marketing calls from hotel services, and I had to listen to each before the system would let me delete it. When I returned from dinner at 10 PM the parking lot was full and I had to park three buildings away. My phones were blinking again with a message from hotel services about a jewelry show. The bed was comfortable but I was awakened four times by a loud group of people who kept leaving and returning. I could not counter the sleepless night by sleeping late because of the charge for late check out. Thinking about that made me mad and at 4 AM I decided to give up, pack up, check out and leave. When checking out the person at the desk seemed more concerned that I find my door key and avoid a charge than get information about the problems that caused a guest to get up and leave before 5 AM.

| These are time share condominiums that also rent out on a nightly rate. At check-in, they tried to convince us to sit through the 45 minute sales pitch, but we politely declined and nothing else was mentioned about it during our stay. The condo was fabulous - a jacuzzi for two, full kitchen, king size bed, nice dining area. Decorated in Queen Anne style. Good value for the money. Walking distance to the Gaylord Opryland.
