| We stayed at the hotel for four nights, which is a little long for Quebec City. We found its location on St. Paul by all the restaurants and shopping to be very convenient. There was minimal noise coming up from the street if that worries you. Hotel employees were friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed using the indoor pool at the end of the day. The pool was rather unique for Quebec as few hotels have them. Two restaurants are associated with the hotel - an expensive one that we didn't try and a typical bistro which was ...well, typical.

| For the value recieved I was not impressed with this hotel. Some staff were courtious, some were ignorant and this left a sour taste. Comments like "Do I look like a receptionist" or what is the problem" from one staff member, when basic questions were asked about the status of our room or valet service for the car were really inappropriate. Other issues like the wait time when waiting for valet service were a little rediculous. At the end of the day this is an 'ok' hotel with really old bedding and staffing issues.

| Great Location in Latin Quarter. Easy walk to most attractions. Steps up to lobby, but staff available to help with bags. (Elevator to other floors.) Our in-room high speed internet didn't work with our ibook, but worked wirelessly in the lobby (free). Saw others with laptops in lobby, as well (?). Staff are bilingual and speak English well. Taxis are readily available and staff will call for you if you wish.

| The hotel is in a terriffic location in the heart of the Old City, a short walk to everthing. The kids loved the basement indoor pool, elegant but small, it cooled us off every afternoon. My biggest complaint was the air conditioning in the room. The central unit pumped out cold air but it wasn't enough to cool off the entire room, which was big. We even changed rooms and had the same problem. Good thing it wasn't critical to us to have a "cold" room.

| The hotel was just what we were looking for. Strongly recommend asking for the newer section of the hotel. There was latenight celebration on the streets and it was dead silent in our room. The basement waste deep pool was a great getaway after wonderful dinning and uphill strolls around old Quebec. The staff was accommodating. And location could be better. Hertz and Budget were 20 feet from the door if you felt like driving anywhere.

| Great location right in the middle of Old Quebec City. Easy access to all major attractions and superb restaurants. I stayed for six nights. My large room on the second floor was very quiet. Good breakfast, lunch, and dinner available right in the hotel, if so desired. I recommend this hotel.

| We were very pleased with the hotel. It is in a great location, the room was large and very nice (we did book their suite, but the price was terrific). Service was overall very good. They provided a crib for free for our baby, the doormen were very accomodating and helpful (there is a long flight of steps from the entrance and they helped us on several occasions to carry the baby and all our stuff up). I would have to say the only downside was those stairs. You could go in through a connected restaurant on the other side at lobby level but it felt weird walking through and was also not near where we got/left the car for parking. The lobby was pleasant and very clean. The room was also in good condition and very clean. I would definitely go back.
