| Hotel did not mention when we booked that the old bridge to the city of Cordoba was closed for repair. In order to get to the old city and points of interest, it was a very long walk over a further bridge or a cab. Hotel staff told us there was a free bus behind the hotel to take us over but we tried and did not find the bus - both buses that we tried to take were not the right ones. We are walkers and walked a lot in every city in Spain but this hotel was very inconvenient for touring the old city of Cordoba.I would not recommend it for travelers.

| Spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, with a very pleasant staff. The hotel is located across the river, on the opposite end of the tourist attractions, which means a 10- or 15-minute walk to get into town, but the walk is not bad (across the old Roman bridge) and the hotel's location away from the town center means it is quiet, unlike the hotels in the middle of the city. Beautiful view and breeze from the terrace bar. I would like to take this opportunity to commend the hotel staff for their honesty. After I departed Cordoba, I realized I had left something of value in my hotel room. I phoned the hotel and was informed that the cleaning staff had found it and it was being safeguarded for me. I really appreciate that.

| Booked on faith/pictures...Great decision! Great value/great location..Easy walk over the Roman Bridge/Puente Romano to all A+ historic sites. Beautiful spacious pool shaded in the afternoon by the hotel itself, as the pool is an inner courtyard. It might have been 107 degrees, but our family cooled off in the pool for an hour plus each of our two nights. Totally awesome view of the historic sites from the 4th floor rooftop. We went "early" at 9:00 p.m. Adults ordered wine; teens ordered Coca Cola Light. Great photo ops. We brought a laptop...free wireless internet was way fast according to 17 year old super geek. We ate two reasonably priced tasty ham and cheese sandwiches/lunches at the hotel restaurant Al Punto. Our maid was the only maid we ever noticed as doing a great job during our 12 days in Spain.
