| I would recommend the hotel for stays no longer than three nights, and I would not recommend it for families: there is not much that children can walk to. Our room was in the back, past the boat bar. The ceiling fan made the room quite cool, even with the A/C turned to low. The bathroom door was slotted (like blinds) so there was almost no privacy. The shower had a curtain, but was otherwise open. The water takes awhile to warm up: let it run about five minutes before jumping in. The pool is small, but is great if you can snag it to yourselves (not hard to do). The staff was very friendly. They directed us to restaurants, the bus stop and the Pueblo. They assisted us with a car rental and a flight back from Vieques. He was very informative about the flights, ferries and car rentals. The beach is one block from the hotel, and is not at all crowded. If you have a rental car while staying here, check with the hotel in advance to find out if they have a parking space available. If not, you will have to park on the street, and there is not much space on the street. For the one night we had our car, we had to park illegally on the street. There were no problems, but it made me nervous. The hotel is in a residential area, about a mile from the Condado strip. We made the walk after dark, but it made me a bit nervous at times.

| The hotel was great especially if you just wanted to lay back & relax. It was close to the beach. The bars, clubs & restaurants was a 10 mintue walk from the hotel. The only problem we had was that the cold water in our room would change into hot water overall the hotel was find.

| Impressed with the friendliness of staff. They were very helpful in my needs. But, the parking was the worst. Spent 30 minutes looking for parking. The hotel does not have parking for all their guest, They only have 5 spots and you have to make a reservation for them. Also, twice the power went in the hotel. This means A/C, lights, fan and outlets. The hotel was beautiful and it was very comfortable except for those minor things that happened. Oh, almost forgot, the picture displayed of the rooms is not quite right. Those rooms are queens size beds, if not specificaly requested, you will get a smaller room with 2 full beds and I do mean small.

| The maid service needs improvement. Our room was not "dirty" but could have used a bit more attention to details. Floor was not swept frequently, floor was dusty and built up dirt in the corners of the floor.Desk staff was helpful and friendly. They are to be commended.

| At Wind Chimes Inn in Puerto Rico is a fantastic place to base yourself for a stay in San Juan. The rooms are decorated in a tropical feel and the inn is only one block from the beach. The staff were very helpful, and the Boat Bar had a great menu food and beverage considering the size of the inn. It was not a busy area like Isla Verde but it only took a 15 minutes to Old Town. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a great escape from the bustle of San Juan.

| The hotel is awesome. It is very art deco-ish. The annex is located a 1/2 block (easy walk) away. That is where we stayed. We had a huge wrap-around balcony overlooking the beach, and there is also a roof-top deck. The hotel bar was so much fun.
