| The fitness center was bad - a broken treadmill and the eliptical and bike were not capable of being plugged in. The staff gave me the wrong time frame for the opening of the fitness center and check out was a very long process because of new employees. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and clean and nothing out of the ordinary.

| The breakfast could have been improved with just a little nicer presentation and more effort by the staff. The attached restaurant was great, reasonable prices and huge servings. There is a metro station, with parking, within a few miles that we used to get into the city with ease. The room was adequate but a on the small side.

| The showerhead was broken and so I could shower only if I held the hose with one hand and washed with the other. The refrigerator/microwave unit was a foot away from the wall, leaving an unnecessary gap. And if you checked under the bed, you would know why many good hotels stress "cleanliness."

| To start our air conditioner was leaking causing the carpet to be wet and the room to smell like an old basement. The shower was too skinny and the shower head to low. My husband actually had to duck under it to wash his hair. The "playground" was an old swingset with the hard wood seats and a small "sandbox" that was more of an ashtray than a sandbox. The maid didn't clean the room. All she did was make the bed and give clean towels. She didn't even replace the empty toilet paper roll.

| Not the hotel for you if you want luxury, but just fine if you want a nice, clean place to stay in the Pikesville area. Free breakfast, nice restaurant attached.

| 2 Star Rating is really pushing it. Premises were not in good shape. I had to walk directly by a dumpster to get to my room. Lawn had not yet been mowed this season which meant long grass and weeds covered the inner court beside the filthy pool. (My room looked out on this area!) Bed and furnishings are well past their prime. Room was clean though it did have spiders. Floor lamp did not work. 1 employee working desk and phones; I had to stand in a line of 5 customers to check out while the attendant keyed in a reservation from a phone customer. (On the plus side, an interesting restaurant named The Olive Branch was attached to the building. Obviously an Olive Garden style clone, the food was actually pretty good and surprisingly busy!)
