This year's family vacation included grandparents in their 70s and children in their teens and younger (and the rest of us in our 30s and 40s). This all-inclusive, low-key hotel provided enough structure and activities to keep the busy-bodies happy and was relaxed enough for the rest of us who simply wanted to be on the beach. There is no need for your Gucci sandals at this easy-going and friendly resort. The low rise hotel buildings strech across the beach front and each room opens out directly to the beach or to a balcony overlooking the ocean. The food changed daily and, yes, some days were better than others, but the buffet style meals were only one option. The hotel has two separate restaurants and a pizza parlor in the facility which provides waiter service (and still included in the "all-inclusive") for a break in the buffet. There are a variety of daily activities for the kids, but also a number of pools on the hotel grounds to enjoy if the beach isn't attractive enough. A safe, clean and entertaining place for families, but also a number of couples on their honeymoon or a romantic getaway. We enjoyed ourselves and, in fact, this is our sixth time going back to the Tamarijn.

Had a great time here--Beautiful stretch of beach only 50 feet from room and ALL rooms are oceanfront. The food was wonderful and the staff extremely friendly. Don't expect a upscale resort though--this place is low key and casual. We'll definitely be back and met a lot of people who have been vacationing there for upwards of 10 years. Most of the staff have been working there for just as long.

The hotel was adequate; would recommend that the food/restaurants be upgraded to a par with the Divi Aruba. The quality of the food and presentation was much better; overall ambiance of Divi excelled. Location of hotel was excellent.

We absolutely had the best vacation every at Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive. The entertainment around the resort, food, and beverages were outstanding. We plan on going back every year for our family fun get away. Tamarijn offers superior service over other all inclusive packages. The kids (ages 9 & 7) are always talking about the wonderful time they had and want us to go back. We would highly recommend Tamarijn for young couples and families of all ages. Excellent service Tamrijn, you deserve four star rating in our book!

When my husband and I go away to this type of location, we want beach and a laid back style of day to day relaxation. We ate when we wanted, swam when we wanted, went out when we wanted, getting the picture? Made many friends or not. Everyone was social and helpful, just the best. I could go on and on............

We just got home from our spring break trip and loved the Tamarijn. It's location on such a beautiful beach, excellent food, clean rooms and friendly staff made it a fantastic vacation. We loved watching the ships come in and out. The Red Parrot was great but the Italian restaurant had mediocre food and bad service. Be prepared to wait in line at the service desk to get reservations. Take the time share tour across the street and get a free rental car for two days! Skip DePalm bus tours and go around the island yourself and save even more waiting around. This hotel was small enough that I had staff to say goodbye to at the end of the week. Can't wait to go back next year! I just hope I don't have to stand in line at the airport for three hours again.
