| I stayed on the 2nd floor in a double suite with my 4 children aged 2-10 yrs. I had read a review complaining about the noise and was worried as I was on the 2nd floor but it was a non-issue. The 'living' area was against the atrium but the bedroom had a solid wood door to further extinguish any disturbance from the Friday and Saturday night crowds. The hotel was comfortable and I especially like the idea of complimentary breakfast. This was the deciding factor for me as it was one less meal I had to go and seek for my family. The kids really enjoyed the pool, I enjoyed the fitness area and we all enjoyed a good meal at the Outback Steakhouse. My suggestion to the hotel would be to fix a couple of washing machines that were not working which would have expedited a 2hr wait to do laundry one day. I also don't think as a paying hotel guest that I should be obliged to pay for parking each day when I am paying a decent rate for the room, but otherwise I like the location. I was on a shopping trip from a neighbouring Island so it suited my purposes.

| I was born in Trinidad and now live in South Florida, and this is the first time I've stayed at the Trinidad Hilton. The hotel's staff are extremely helpful, and room security is so great, I've never seen anything like it before. I stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian on Oahu, HI, and room security there is second to that of the Trinidad Hilton. The hotel is well maintained and decor I couldn't complain about. Since this property is built on the side of a cliff, there are magnificant views of the Capital, Port-Of-Spain and the northwest aresa, Queens Park Savannah, Queen's hall, the Prime Ministers Office and Presidents Home. The building needs some maintaince work in some areas as this property was built in 1962. My only gripe has to do with the very late hour in the evening our room was cleaned, usually around 4:40 - 5:00 PM. Very nice pool area and lush greenery around the hotel. Business center a bit small, but gets the job done as there weren't many people there at the same time, about 2 or 3. Great food, drinks, cable TV etc. You will love your hosts.

| The hotel was very nicely decorated for the Christmas season. The breakfast buffett was great. It is very near downtown which makes it great for business. The only complaint is that the beds were twin beds which were very small.

| The structures in Trinidad are hard to maintain due to humidity and salt in general. The Hilton seems run down and you can smell the dampness in the air. Infrastructure is unfinished with two sections of hotel not being able to telephone each other. The staff is not very pleasant and they tried overcharging (10x) me for a phonecall made to the US.
