| The hotel staff was great. The hotel was very quiet and they served a hot breakfast every morning. The hotel was nice and clean and I just loved the balcony. The hotel room was very spacious. I will definitely stay again. The hotel was located about 2 miles from the beach.

| The Marriott Residence Inn is a wonderful hotel and I would highly recommend staying there. The customer service was excellent, the cleanliness was above par and the amenities were all we could want. When we needed a room adjustment because we needed an additional bed they were so good to accomodate us. They offered a nice social hour every afternoon which was very pleasant. I would definately stay there again.

| This is by far the best hotel experience I've ever had. The rates were very reasonable, especially for the quality of room I got. The room was fastidiously clean, not fancy but very comfortable and homey. It felt like someone had put a lot of thought into making guests feel welcome. The staff was fantastic; they were friendly, helpful, and professional. I will definitely go back.

| The hotel needs updating. Room was clean but the hotel itself was dirty. The doors were banged up and paint/wallpaper missing. For the price on the island - it was affordable so I would recommend for the price but not for the atmosphere. The breakfast was wonderful however.

| Only negative is the hotel was dated, but it was clean and staff friendly and helpful. They serve a superb breakfast, more than you could ever eat. It is off the main road and very quiet. Families can cook meals in the rooms if desired.

| The hotel had an excellent staff who was extremely friendly. The rooms were very clean, however the hotel could certainly use a facelift. The room amenities and decor were outdated, but in acceptable condition. The location was great and the rooms were very quiet. The morning breakfast was great! I would return but would not set my expectations for the facility too high.

| My husband & I were there one night & found the accomodations to be very nice - friendly staff - comfortable bedding, evening beverage hour, free breakfast & kitchen in the room. I would have liked more counter space in the bathroom but that would not stop me from choosing the hotel again. We had a pleasurable stay.

| If you don't mind not being on the beach then this is the place to stay. The free breakfast has everything from waffles, eggs, sausages, biscuits to cereals, yogurts, all muffins and bagels etc. The room was great with a full kitchen and all the utensils not to mention high speed wireless internet which performed flawlessly and a nice balcony to sit on and surf the net. The room was clean and the front desk called us to make sure everything was in order and if we needed anything. The hotel is in a nice central location just about convenient to anything on the island. It was quiet since no night life is in the hotel or around it...I'm not old but I like a quiet place when it comes time to sleep. When I return for some more rest and relaxation I'll be staying here again.

| Hilton Head is a great location because we visited Savannah and Charleston. The Residence Inn was great and the free HOT breakfast was better than some restaurants that I have eaten. The people could not do enough for you and went out of their way to make sure everything was fine. A small note - we stayed in a handicapped room and there were parts of the room that a wheelchair guest would have had problems. Nice place, nice value, nice people and a good location - everything that you would want!!
