| The hotel gave us driving directions when we asked how to get to the Rose Bowl for the football game, when there were free shuttles just a couple of blocks away. We thought they should have told us about the free shuttles as well. That is why we gave them a medium rating on service.

| Very comfortable hotel close to Old-town Pasadena. No need for car to get to restaurants, shops, etc. Suggest skipping the hotel restaurant.

| The hotel refused to deal with people partying throughout the hotel DAY and night. When we called to change rooms we had to go downstairs to get the key ourselves and no one offered a pregnant woman with a 2 yr old any help. Moved the room ourselves. Upon check in we were scolded for "self parking" and paying even though that is what the sign said to do. People smoking, drinking, cursing by the pool all day drunk was not relaxing. Management here doesn't care about repeat business we guessed. Ceiling in our room was cracked and flaking. Shower floor is different height than bathroom floor-a major hazard. No good.

| We stayed two nights on a SPECIAL King Bed that sagged so bad I had to sleep at an angle going downhill. One day -- the hottest of the two -- the air conditioning quit working and we had to get ready for a wedding in 86 degree heat. They didn't even bring us a fan for over an hour!

| This hotel has it all, comfortable beds, and one of the best prices in Pasadena. I was a little disappointed with the $7.00 per day parking fee, but the convenience it worth the cost. Staff were professional, although they forgot to take care of the parking pass. In this price category, this is a good choice.

| The hotel is old and quite dark. However, the room was clean enough, though the furniture are old. The TV was too small and not comfortable to watch due to its angle with the bed. Hotel staff service was fair. I had a big suitcase, but the staff checking me in offered no help; In fact, there was only 1 staff at the whole reception area at the time of check-in and check-out. Other than having its own carpark, which charged only $7 a day, plus it being close to Old Pasadena, I have nothing much to recommend this hotel.

| DSL connection worked very well(!). Bed was very comfy. Nice desk for working. Very clean. Very convenient to downtown LA where I had to do biz and much better price. Only complaint is that it was 20 minutes at 9 pm on a Thursday night to get from downtown LAlaland to hotel, but almost an hour to get back in the am, but that's not the hotel's fault.

| The room was smaller than other hotels that we've stayed at but the bed was very comfortable. However, the hotel was conveniently located behind the Pasadena Civic Center and also close to Paseo Colorado.
