Features
What to expect: Located in the heart of the musical instrument-making district of Paris, this six-story hotel attracts many classical musicians. Its proximity to the popular Opéra district and easy access to regional transportation also make it an ideal home base for business and vacationers looking for peace and quiet at night. Amenity highlights: The comfortable lounge bar is furnished with leather club chairs and decorated with a musical theme in tribute to the neighborhood’s instrument makers. A buffet breakfast (fee) is served daily in an art-deco room bathed in natural light from the antique glass ceiling. Insider tip: In addition to Boulevard Haussmann's classic Parisian department stores, there’s also the Passage du Havre, 4 blocks from the hotel. This commercial center, hidden under the Rue du Havre, features enticing boutiques such as Zara (discount designer knockoffs) and Sephora (cosmetics). Entrance is from the Metro St-Lazare station or at 12-14 Rue du Havre, behind Printemps.
The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are several dining options within the surrounding area. Nearby restaurants: Le Boucoleon Bois Acacia Jardin de Rome

| I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was well cared for. It was convenient to a variety of locations and, importantly, to metro stops. Service was very good. The restaurants close to the hotel were quite good and varied in terms of the types of foods. It was a good place to stay for my first trip to Paris.

| The hotel is clean and my room, though small (like most hotel rooms in Europe) was quite comfortable and was air-conditioned. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is good, within walking distance (if you're wearing comfortable shoes and like to walk) from many tourist destinations such as L'Opera, Place de la Concorde, Place Vendome, Le Louvre (although it's a bit of a hike). Also, the Gare St. Lazare is right down the street, so you can get the metro quite easily. The street is quiet; I was not disturbed at all by noise, even the night of France's victory in the World Cup quarter-finals, when much of Paris was in an uproar. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

| The rooms were small but there is so much to see in Paris that the room really does not matter. The concierge was friendly and informative. And there are places to eat in the area that are good. Overall a very good experience.

| Loved the area - charming shops where they make musical instruments. Convenient for getting around town via Metro - Room/hotel was fine for Europe standards. Would stay there again.

| The hotel is not far from Saint Lazare's train/metro station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price of the room was great. The room perks were having AC and a minibar to keep drinks cold that I purchased.
