The hotel’s café/bar area opens out onto the patio and garden area where the swimming pool is open during the warm summer months. Drinks and light meals can be taken in the garden. The gym features weight training equipment and static bikes as well as a sauna and jetted tub. Guests are also offered a discount rate at a nearby fitness center. Two versatile meeting rooms can be adapted for any function and have complete conferencing facilities. The largest seats 80 theater style, the smaller one 35. Both rooms can be divided into smaller areas.

What to expect: A mix of business and leisure visitors make up the clientele at this recently built and well equipped hotel. Families are attracted by the hotel’s self-catering facilities. The relaxed bar/cafeteria, outdoor pool and garden add a further dimension to this centrally located hotel. Amenity highlights: Guests can enjoy drinks by the pool and meals in the garden during the summer months. The full fitness center features a sauna and jetted tub as well as training equipment. Insider tip: The hotel is close to the great shopping opportunities along the Diagonal, but it is also a short minute drive from Mount Tibidabo with its restaurants, entertainment and spectacular views.
Bar/Cafeteria - Located off the lobby, this area serves coffee during the day and dinner in the evening. A mix of traditional and international food is served from an à la carte menu. During the summer, the doors are opened onto the garden and pool area where drinks are also served. Sant Joan Restaurant - This large sunny room adjacent to the bar and lobby serves a buffet breakfast. A self service lunch is also served here with several choices of international cuisine on offer such as Grilled Chicken Breast, Salt Cod with Garlic Cream, and Duck Confit.

| The hotel is fine -- just further away from Barcelona city center then we had thought. There is quite a bit of walking to the tram, and we never could find the metro station Idelfons. There is a bus stop right on the street in front of the hotel. There are some little restaurants and a bakery about a block and a half from the hotel.

| Ony problem is first time arriving a bit far out of the centre but once you figure the tram & metro system its no problem grand and peacefull with a nice pool for the kids

| We loved the hotel, service, & space. The free wireless internet was also a plus. Our only complaint was that the bed wasn't the most comfortable, still passable, though.

| This is a clean,cheap,comfortable hotel in a residential neighborhood far from restaurants and shops. However, this is convenient for a leisure or business traveler with rental car or time for public transportation. Walk to rail(ATM)and buses or parj your rental on street or garage for an extra charge. Decent restaurant in lobby and good buffet breakfast. Hotel is xext to major highway to all points of Barcelona and beyond.

| The hotel room was awesome, the bedroom was seperate from the sitting area, dinning and kitchenette. There were two mini fridges, which allowed us to buy our own snacks and save money. The buffet available in the hotel was great, a lot of choices and a friendly staff. The hotel staff was excellent too and there was all types of transportation right at your finger tips. The location is in a nice, quiet subburb, so if you want the city at your door step this wouldn't be ideal.

| Our room was a suite with separate living area and bedroom and a small kitchenette. It was extremely comfortable and spacious. Fridge allowed us to save money on food by buying groceries. The hotel is about an hour away from city center, but tram stop is just a block from the hotel entrance. This will take you to the metro. It is worth it! Plus it is quiet at night, unlike the hotels located in and around Las Ramblas. Would stay again.

| Well I'm in the military and I seen my share of hotels, So in august 2005 I took my family in a little vacasion, We were in barcelona for 10 days, The personal always helpful for anything, I have a rental car but i almost did not use they toll me how to use the metro and we love it, (I can drink Sangria and dont worrie about driving)It was one good time my family and I have in or out of the hotel, We are going back next year, for 20 days, Adios

| The hotel was clean, and nicely run. Excellent room (1 bedroom) that we had. In a new part of Barcelona that is growing. However, not centralized to some of the main tourist areas, and may need to utilize public transportation (or auto rental) to get around.

| The hotel was clean, the room is huge, especially if you compare with other European budget hotels, the staff is extremely helpful (our only complaint is they didn't give us any of the four messages left for us at the front desk). The hotel is also close to the airport (about 22 Euros by taxi) and not that far from the city. You take the tram two blocks from the hotel to the metro station and from there you can take the metro anywhere. Now, the commute is easy, but still takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get to town. So if you're in a hurry to go places, maybe you'll be better off somewhere closer.
