| The stay at this hotel was fantastic for the price. Everything was all inclusive (which comes in very handy especially if you have kids) it even included show performances in the evening and lots of activities for the kids. The hotel is situated on a breathtaking beachfront. The only downfall was the plumbing. We had to call service desk for running water problem. Overall the room was very clean and the hotel attendants were very attentive to guests needs. We had a variety of foods to select from on a daily basis. We definitely staying at this hotel again.

| My family and I recently stayed at the Azteca,it was a beautiful place and we very much enjoyed our time there. The sister hotel a little ways down the beach had many more amenities and would probably choose them next time. Had one major issue and it did not get resolved until I asked to speak to the manager (I had spoken to 6 people prior to that). Other than that we loved our trip and would recommend this hotel.

| Had a great time. Everything was really nice. The only down side was the food. Not much choices if you don't eat meat. The activity staff were awesome!!! There was always something to do, even for the kids. They were also very good at accomodating special needs. The hotel was also very handicap accessible and easy to get around.

| Arrived well before check-in and no rooms were available. However, the staff really pulled together to get us a room as quickly as possible (6 hrs before check in). The beach was clean, but seemed small. The hotel entertainment was nice. The staff did a really good job of keeping the guests entertained throughout the day. I also found it interesting that the staff was required to eat meals with the guests - nice touch. The food was okay, but not great. Drink service at the Buffet was awful. We found it easier to get our own drinks than wait for the waiters. The alcohol drinks were awful, especially the Margaritas. There seemed to be an after-taste in most drinks. We think it was the ice because non-iced drinks were okay. The rooms were nice, as expected. TV didn't work very well, but we didn't go to Mexico to watch TV anyway. Transportation was the only drag on this trip. Seemed we needed to take a Taxi to get anywhere.

| Extremely clean, beautiful and accomodating hotel. We were very impressed with every aspect of our visit. The food was great, there were always plenty of fun activities and bikes were available to borrow, which was a great way to get to downtown!

| This is a great place to stay for a family on a budget. Considering that on either side of this hotel are 5 star hotels costing 2-3 times as much! You are getting the same beach front at a great price! Don't expect a jetted jacuzzi tub and a mint on your pillow, just a nice clean room. After all, how much of your time do you expect to spend there anyway? The food was very good and the people working there are Super friendly. Especially Manuel, he went above and beyond his call of duty to check on our tour guide from an outside company. He called them twice to find out why they were late picking us up and made sure we got picked up! How cool is that? (they spoke very little english at the tour company)If you're looking for a Honeymoon Suite or fancy room check elsewhere, but for a great inexpensive family vacation or a first trip to check out Playa, this is a good place to start.

| My wife and I stayed June 4th-9th and we both agree that this was the best vacation we have ever taken. There is not one negative word I can say about this hotel. The staff was very friendly and very good at thier jobs. The food at the buffett was what I expected, and each resort had two restaurants that were excellent. The Viva Cafe downtown was awesome, it was a good thing I was sitting when I had the mushroom risotto because my knees would have buckled. The drink menu was very diverse and fun, and the buffett had wine and Dos Equis on tap. This was truly the best week ever.
