| We found the location (right across from the beach) and the architecture and landscaping very attractive. The room was lovely (cottage style furnishings, fireplace, etc.) and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast in the cozy breakfast room was beyond Continental as it included eggs, sausage, pastries, fresh waffles AND very good coffee. We will go back to enjoy the surroundings (convenient wooden walkways on the bluff along the beach)and the hotel.

| The facilities were pleasant and soothing. The breakfast was wonderful and served in charming suroundings. An additional bonus it was just across the street from the beach. The entire experience was worth repeating.

| Our room had high ceilings, which made it feel more airy and spacious. Even though the hotel is across the street from the beach (and they all are at this location) the street was not busy at all and it was easy to get to. And close by. The (hot) breakfast was in a nice breakfast room and the make-your-own waffles were great.

| My husband and I and our 2 year old son had a blast here! From swimming in the beautiful pool, to soaking in the wonderful spa, to walking along the beach boardwalk ... to ordering "to go" food from The Moonstone Cafe a few doors down that was outstanding. The linens smelled very fresh and the fireplace was very enjoyable. The only thing we were a little dissappointed with was the breakfast. My recommendation would be, if you are going to eat breakfast here, eat the waffles and skip the rest. Otherwise, I would suggest eating your breakfast somewhere else.

| This is a charming inn right on the ocean, with a good restaurant a block away. Good paths for hiking, shuttle service to downtown Cambria, and the most romantic setting in CA. Fireplaces in rooms just add to the ambiance.
