Recreation
The resort offers two heated outdoor swimming pools, three spa tubs, an exercise facility with locker rooms and saunas, ski and bicycle equipment storage, and two hard-surface and three low-dust clay tennis courts. During summer, a full-time tennis pro instructs, organizes playing partners and tournaments, and arranges for equipment maintenance. Guests are offered special rates at the Aspen Club and Spa, a 77,000-square-foot facility that offers a variety of health and wellness services through its SpaAspen, SalonAspen, and Sports Medicine Institute.

The Aspen Skiing Company oversees four mountains: Ajax, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass. Ajax, four blocks from the hotel, has 76 trails ranging from more difficult to expert. It’s accessible by eight lifts, including the Silver Queen Gondola, which makes the trip between the base and the summit in 14 minutes.

Both Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk, which is home to Aspen’s ski school, are three miles from downtown Aspen and offer trails ranging from beginner to expert. Snowmass, with the highest summit and largest ski terrain of the four, is ten miles from Aspen. It also has trails accommodating all levels of skiers and has 21 lifts; seven of these are high-speed quad chairs. Other nearby winter activities include ice skating, snowshoeing, and snowboarding.

In summer, recreational activities include whitewater rafting, fly fishing, horseback riding, jeep tours, parasailing, mountain biking, and golf.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Features
What to expect: This resort caters to affluent vacationers and business travelers who want the amenities of a hotel combined with the roominess and comforts of a home. Its location―within seven blocks of downtown Aspen, the Silver Queen Gondola, and the mountain itself―provides convenient access to services and attractions without being part of the busy hub itself.

Amenity highlights: The resort complex includes six three-story buildings housing 120 condos, connected by an intricate series of covered walkways shaded by trees and accented with stone landscaping. Highlights include two outdoor pool areas, an exercise facility, complimentary valet parking, a 5,052-square-foot conference center, and concierge services. Guests enjoy complimentary airport and town shuttles upon request, as well as reduced rates at the Aspen Spa and Club, a 77,000-square-foot facility offering sports medicine and wellness classes in addition to spa treatments.

Insider tip:, Located 19 miles east of Aspen, Independence Pass extends through 32 miles of mountainous terrain, with a summit elevation of 12,095 feet. Attractions include ghost towns, scenic overlooks, wildlife viewing, and hiking. The pass is closed late October through Memorial Day.

The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are several dining options within the surrounding area.

The management and service was very good. Excellent shuttle service from airport and Aspen ski lifts. I reserved their delux two bedroom. It was not up to standards of a delux. Carpets were soiled and interior was not up to date.

Condo was nicely decorated, clean and has everything you need. Staff is pleasant, and location is close to the action. The free house shuttle is very convenient too. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at The Gant for our honeymoon. The fireplace was very romantic and we enjoyed getting in the hot tub after a long day of shopping! The hotel service was great, they were very friendly and helpful.

All about The Gant is good. I can wait to be there with my kids again and again. Have space and the best comodities inside the rooms or better said "aparment". Perfect location near Downtown at Aspen, beautiful pool and gisnastic amenities. Most for grow kids Have no words to describe how good was everything
