Me and My Husband and another couple stayed there for 4 days and love it, The Hotel is very Clean and the Service was Great. The food was just OK, could use more of a variety but overall we had a great trip and would go again. If You like shopping go to the Isla Mall they have everything, You can even swim with the dolphins there, great shopping, high prices and low prices, did not enjoy the flea market they call the party place, not a place for kids and they try hard selling their kinda like a car salesman, but the trip to Cancun was wonderful, also go on the snorkling trip it was great. Can't wait to go back and take my kids

We stayed at Park Royal for the 2nd time and we love it. We love the staff, the rooms, the location, everything. We travelled with our 3 yr. old son and he also had a great time. The hotel is family oriented and there is many activities for the kids during the day. In the evenings there is always a clown entertaining the children and making animal balloons for them. I absolutely love the hotel and plan to go back there when we go to cancun. I reccomend this hotel to anwyone travelling with children, its excellent!

The hotel was so clean! They were constantly cleaning and had supervisors checking to be sure things were cleaned properly. The food was super and we found more than enough to eat at every meal and never made it to the snack station. Vegetables, cold cuts, cheeses, breads and fruit were staples, too. The service was outstanding. I regret not taking more $1's for tips because they worked so hard and long hours, too. Since businesses take US and return change with pesos, we started giving the pesos for tips and they were so gracious. The staff was especially accomodating and sincerely wanted us to be pleased but never expected tips. The location was good with the mall across the street and a short walk to some Margaritaville, Bubba Gump's...We took the bus to Walmart (about 65 cents anytime you get on) and used the internet there for about 80 cents for 20 minutes. The hallways do carry noise and some folks just are not considerate after they've had a drink or two but it was never enough noise to keep me awake. Beach was beautiful and not crowded at all but rough water during our stay. Have stayed at high end hotels here in US and thought Park Royal had superior service and cleanliness.

I was honestly a little skeptical with all the descriptions for the price - but all my worries went away in the first few hours. Great location (on the beach, across from mall, on bus route), diligent friendly staff that is always on top of things, breathtaking beaches, and the food was great, great drinks unlimited. Check in took about an hour on a busy sat morning :-(....but after that we had an awesome time. Room has cable TV but no coffee maker.

after arriving at this beautiful hotel we had to wait 2 hours before checking -in. I had to suggest to the clerks may my children eat at less lunch while we wait. the rooms are clean but make sure your view is not of construction that is going on next store. the food is okay were it's hot much of the time luke warm. pool is okay is the day-time after 5:00 p.m. fill with garbage ( cups and plates). next steps to get into the pools, can be hard if carrying child or disable ( only has ladders to climb down). I guess what left a negative taste in my mouth was the rude service by check in clerks ( didn't explain anything about hotel being that is was all inclusive) not friendly at all!!! but the others workers made up for their lack of customer service. Maids and waiters and bartenders are outstandings!!!! rooms are very, very, clean but not sound proof ( can heard the people is the next room). lots of activities during the day time.

This place was absolutely great. The all-inclusive was a great option. Drinks were GREAT -- not skimpy on the liquor at all. The buffet breakfast was OK, but the lunch buffet was very good. The dinner buffet could use a little help, but there is a restaurant on the grounds (also included in the all-inclusive option) that requires reservations, long pants, and shoes -- none of which any of us had, but it looked very nice and was probably a much better option than buffet for dinner. Overall, a fantastic place to stay.

After reading countless reviews we chose the Park Royal for my son's high school graduation trip to Cancun. We also took our 15 yr. old daughter. This hotel as stated is very clean. We stayed in an ambassador suite and had room to spare. I highly recommend this hotel if you have a large family or are traveling with a group. 2 large bathrooms and a door that closed off the areas was very convenient with a male and female teen. The food is good-sometimes great and I think everyone should be able to find something. We celebrated my husband's birthday in the reservation restaurant and were greatly surprised at how good the food was. At my request(3p.m. the day of) they also baked him a beautiful chocolate cake and would not accept payment. So if you have a special event, let them know and they will accomodate you. The only two things that this hotel lacks are waiters around the pool area and no beach service for drinks. Also this is not one of the megaresorts but a just right size to keep track of family. Don't take a taxi because the bus picks you up right outside the hotel and goes everywhere and is 6 pesos. Our kids loved the jungle excursion-take the one that has the long route for the same $'s. They got to drive the boat across the whole lagoon and had a blast.

My wife and I could not have been more satisfied with this Resort. The place was great! The room was clean and the service...oh my goodness...the service was awesome. The people were so friendly, respectful and professional. We had a couple of small situations that arised and my wife and I were very pleased with how fast they were addressed and corrected. It is a great choice if you have a wife and kids because of its relaxed atmosphere, family activities and a food variety that would satisfy any tummy. All in all, it is not the most fancy or elegant resort out there. However, with the staff and service that they have, you really feel like royalty. We did!!

Visited on April 17, 2006. Hotel & room were very clean. WE stayed in presidential suite which was very roomy and helpful since we brought our 3 children. Jacuzzi on our balcony was great!! The hotel is still updating a few things since hurricane. Like replacing the tv's with larger one's and replacing microwaves. We did not have a microwave in our room, but I did not care because I had no plans on heating up anything anyway. Pool's were nice. They played a variety of games for the kid's to get involved in. Beach was beautiful, however the waves were a little rough, but we liked that. They were putting up new huts on the beach as we were leaving. Food was good, but we also went to the mall across the street for a change. Staff was very friendly and we had a great time. I would go back to this hotel for vacation.

My husband and I are trying to plan a trip in January 2005. We stayed at this resort in July and wanted to go back. His saying is "do everything once, so that leaves no room for repeats". So I was shocked that he not only wanted to revisit Cancun, but stay at the same place as well. The service was good, beds- a little hard (but read any review and someone will say that), and the food was tasty. But, there is no other all inclusive resort that you will find a beach that nice and that big. It exceeded our expectations and we will be back as soon as they let us in.
