I had to get my room keys changed 5 times, which I kept walking back and forth to the Lobby for. The Management insisted that I was swiping the cards the wrong way, but it turned out there was a problem with the system itself. On top of that, the walls are so thin that you have no privacy. You can hear through the walls.

Good rate for the area, within walking distance of the capitol and old Sacramento restaurants and shops. Free parking. Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff polite and accomodating. A great free breakfast - only negative, traffic noise.... I will go back.

This hotel is within a short walk of Old Sacramento and several good restaurants. It's also quite easy to get to from the airport. The room and grounds are particularly clean and the staff is very helpful. The complimentary breakfast is plentiful with a variety of foods; you can even make your own waffles! Free high speed internet and a computer area are a very welcome bonus as well. The only down side I can think of is that the bed in our room was a little hard, (but I did sleep OK) and that the pool area and patio are locked at 10:00pm. I understand that this is a safety issue, but since these are the only outdoor places with tables and chairs, we were not able to sit outside and enjoy the evenings. (Especially since the daytime temperatures averaged 105 while we were there; much too hot to make use of these areas during the day!) Overall, it's very clean and comfortable and I will definately stay here when I visit again. Thank you Vagabond Inn for making my first trip to Sacramento a pleasant and comfortable one!

This hotel was just great! It is within walking distance to Old Town Sac, shopping, Capitol, and more. Free parking, two computers in the lobby provide free internet access for those without laptops. Complete breakfast in the morning with tons of choices...make your own waffles, fruit, yogurt, bagels, hard boiled eggs, sausages on a stick, cereals and more. The pool was great and had a jacuzzi. Very small workout room, but no one was using it so no waiting. Also a fridge and microwave in room. Will Definitely return!
