| Hotel itself doesn't make impression. Scratched walls and doors. However, rooms were clean and taken care off. Hotel serves breakfast which saves time of looking around. Availability of parking is a plus, because it is hard to find one on the streets. Fairly close to Fisherman's Wharf (10-15 min walking). I would stay there again!

| Selected this hotel because of the low rate and advertised free internet. The drawbacks: -- no control of the baseboard heat. The only way to cool off the room was to open the window, which let in the noise of Van Ness right below us. -- hard, uncomfortable bed -- we brought our laptops, but could only get the free internet if we sat in the lobby. Good thing we were too busy to spend much time at the hotel.

| Peeling paint, clogged shower, dirty floor and too few amenities are all terms that describe this hotel. The parking isn't bad; it's first come first serve. Location was on a hill - it's close to the water IF you don't mind walking up and down hills to get there. There was no view, the non-smoking room smelled like cigaretts and it seemed like no one had done anymore than make the bed and put soap in the bathroom. Overall, I would definitely not recommend this hotel to other travellers. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else.

| Everything was fine with this hotel except for the street noise. We had to keep the window open because there was no air conditioning and the traffic noise was almost unbearable.

| If your looking for a hotel decently priced and close to Fisherman's Wharf, then stay here. It is simple, without alot of ammenities. Our room did not have air conditioning although some rooms do, so be sure to ask if that is important to you. Overall, the room was clean, the continential breakfast was awesome and the staff was receptive to needs.

| The place was a bit scary, things looked decent on the surface, but garbage fell out of the bottom of the chair when i sat down, there was no hot water in the morning, it was loud, and didn't feel safe. The doors didn't feel like they latched close, and just was a rough place.

| Finding a place to park for check in was tough, but after that they assign a parking spot for you. It is on a busy street, but I didn't notice the noise inside the room. We walked to Pier 39. It was a nice walk in the morning, but felt like a long way back.

| This hotel is old and has been partially renovated but is only a 1 or 2 star quality. However, it will suit your needs just fine if you just want a cheap place to sleep in a clean bed, in a great location within wallking distance to many of the sights of San Francisco and right on the bus route. On the positive side, the front desk folks were great, there is Internet in the lobby, a restaurant on site, the pool was open, the continental breakfast was good, and the place felt safe enough. But, if you are on the street side, the traffic is noisy at night. Our room was kind of dark; we had a broken safe, and we had some light/electrical issues (which were promptly fixed), and our shower tiles were broken/decayed.
