| This hotel's cost was too high for what it had to offer. There was no hair dryer or shampoo in the room and the breakfast is packaged sweetrolls, no fruit, ect.

| I bought a night online but after pulling up realized it was one of those places I would never consider staying if I had driven by. The room was incredibly small, blank white walls though clean. The rooms all open to the parking lot, which was empty then and every time we drove by. I found another motel nearby that felt more secure and spacious. The owner was confused about my leaving but nice. The place just had a weird vibe, like no one really stays here and didn't feel safe.

| The staff was accomodating and helpful. The rooms were decent but our shower had obviously not been cleaned. The exterior is really dirty (but typical Chico) and in need of a serious pressure washing. Could have been better for the amount we paid but not so bad that I'd never stay there again.

| There are not a lot of choices in Chico. The Vagabond is right downtown, and we were able to walk or ride bikes anywhere. The hotel is older, and is showing it's age, but is clean and the staff is pleasant. A decent, inexpensive place to stay, but there are few other options in Chico.
