Features
What to expect: Located in semi-tropical Central Florida, this European-style hotel draws business travelers and vacationers. Ranked by Travel + Leisure as one of the world's top 500 hotels, this property is fronted by a small Euro-lobby featuring black columns, black and white marble, a barrel-vault ceiling lined with tiny Smalti Italian tiles of brilliant red and gold; and a bronze sculpture by Larry Young. Designed by Austrian architect Hans Hollien and valued at $250,000, the hotel's Imperial Grand Bösendorfer Piano (one of two in existence) features gold-leaf inlays, a hydraulic lid, and brass legs. Amenity highlights: Festooned with blossoms and greenery, a sixth-floor pool deck houses a 45-by-22-foot lap pool; four-person spa, and an all-white, fabric-draped gazebo containing five glass-and-wrought-iron chandeliers. A short flight of stairs leads from the deck down to a secluded arbor with tables. Insider tip: Although guides from the hotel's art gallery escort guests on a tour of the Grand Bohemian's extensive art collection twice daily, self-guided tours are possible for guests who request a copy of the art catalog at the front desk.
The Boheme - Enormous paintings by Elsie Ject-Key grace the walls behind the plush banquettes in this fine-dining restaurant. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a Sunday jazz brunch are served. Lunch includes attractions such as roasted-duck Cobb salad as well as soups, pastas, sandwiches, and seafood. Dinner highlights include Chilean sea bass crusted with parsley and pecorino and linguine with clams and lobster in addition to steaks and chops. Klimt Rotunda - Displaying six Klimt drawings, housing the Imperial Grand Bösendorfer Piano, and looking out on City Hall, this round café serves as the hotel's musical heartbeat. The style is Vienna or Prague: little black-marble tables, black velour banquettes and chairs, black-and-white tile floor, dropped, gold-leaf ceiling containing crimson lights. Music nightly. Cocktails, imported beer, appetizers. The Bösendorfer Lounge - Named after the Bösendorfer piano in the Klimt Rotunda, this spacious, hardwood-floor lounge serves cocktails and the same menu as the Klimt Rotunda. The bar ceiling is golf-leaf, marble bar and columns are black, hanging lights are red, and the rotating harlequin perched atop a column is multi-colored and wistful. A DJ plays on Friday and Saturday nights following jazz sessions in the Klimt Rotunda. Starbucks - Coffee drinks, light meals, pastries. Room service is available 24 hours.

| We travel frequently to Orlando and were looking for a 5 star hotel near downtown and away, far away, from the Disney-mania. We found that at the Westin Grand Bohemian. Every thing from the room to the food was perfect. Only issue was with the speed and organization of the valet parking. Hopefully that was just a blip during our stay.

| Superb downtown location. My recommedation if you're planning to hang out downtown, (Orlandos best kept secret!) otherwise parking could be a drag. I chose church street garage @ 6 bucks a shot. Incredible service! My room had a family with a crying baby next door and they transfered me to another promptly.

| This is a lovely hotel, interestingly decorated and very comfortable. It's a great place to stay. Only quibbles: security is an issue (I got panhandled checking in AT the front desk), and what we thought was a nice detail, liquid half & half by the coffee maker, turned out to be so spoiled they were solid. Ewww. Otherwise, delightful.

| This is a top-notch hotel. Very comfortable and provides all amenities a business traveler needs. Plan to spend extra if you have to order room service, but the food is good and the service is excellent.

| The Westin Grand Bohemian is a very classy place to stay. The staff was very helpful with questions about the Orlando area and directions to anywhere you would care to go. The valet parking was wonderful, although somewhat expensive. Room service was great. We didn't try the restaurant as we didn't have the proper attire, but it always seemed to be full in the evening. The bed was excellent and the room extremely clean. The pool and hot tub area was very nice, although closed for painting for half of our stay and for a wedding on Saturday. It was very nice to have a Starbucks in the hotel. Overall experience was extremely satisfying and we would highly recommend the Grand Bohemian.

| Although I never went into the lounge and restaurant in the lobby, I enjoyed my stay at the Westin. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly and provided all the directions and bits of information we needed. Our room was luxurious with a bed and 5 pillows including a body pillow, a lounger sofa, desk, great view, and a large bathroom. The adjustable central air was very pleasant. The hotel is directly across from City Hall and also a fire station, which was a tad loud every now and then. The pool on the 6th floor was very nice, but the hot spa was waiting to be repaired so we were unable to use that one. The valet parking staff were also very nice, but I did have the front desk make a correction since we were somehow charged for the two nights we parked somewhere else (in the garage across the street). It is a perfect location for night-life with club after club along Orange Ave. and down Church and Pine streets. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay at the Westin Bohemian in downtown Orlando and will definitely go back for the next time.
