| Great for a honeymoon getaway, the place is isolated and away from the crowds, get an ocean view room because the rooms located on the back of the property are too far back to enjoy the beach, etc. Restuarant food at the resort is way overpriced so check out the local restuarants. Look for Oceanview Restuarant near the hotel where the food and service is wonderful.

| I just spent 4 days at Villa Montana and I'm surprised that the resort received so many bad reviews. I'm assuming the bad reviews came from people who think sandals, beaches, and atlantis are great places for vacations... Yuck! If you like relaxing in a nice breeze where the dominant sounds you hear are birds and the rustling of palm trees, then this is your place. Also, the rooms are supurb and tastful and the grounds are well maintained.

| We stayed 3 nights in November and had a wonderful time! Staff was attentive and very helpful. The overall hotel landscape and room were beautiful. We enjoyed every meal we ate at Eclipse and only wish we had some more time to lay around in the beach chairs! Would highly recommend!

| This was a very nice hotel with well maintained grounds located right on the beach in Isabela. The beach was clean with snorkling sites right off the beach (The infamous "Blue Hole" of Playa Shacks). There were also 2 pools which were never crowded. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Cable service including many stations in English. Although the food in the restaurant was excellent, the prices were high. The portions were on the skimpy side even for a high end restaurant. Service was also a bit spotty in the restaurant. Take advantage of the many restaurants along Rte 110 that serve traditional Puerto Rican fare at reasonable prices. I had a wonderfull meal, including a beverage, for less than $6.00 one night. I would defintely stay at this resort again.
