| My first impression upon arrival was disappointment because the appearance is not what we are accustomed to in the U.S. However, the service and friendliness of the staff soon makes you forget all that. Our room was clean, the grounds were immaculate, the girls at the tour desk were 100% helpful. We were hesitant to book a reservation there because it is three miles north of the center of town, but once you see the center of town you will be happy to be away. Our only complaint was the food at the hotel restaurant which was the absolute worst I've ever eaten. There is a little Chinese restaurant called the Atlantic which only is a block or two towards town and their food was good. Also, an easy cab ride into town which offers several good restaurants. The most distinguishing quality of this hotel is the friendly staff and the excellent service they provide. We stayed 8 days and felt we were leaving good friends behind.

| Great Hotel....not crowded....almost thought i had the place to myself sometimes. If u are a big eater though (and many of us Americans are) then u might want to check out the grocery store 1 block behind the hotel for food to cook and beer instead of ordering through the hotel. The food is still great though, but not the American-sized portions we are used to.
