This three-story hotel 2 miles from the Oakland International Airport offers complimentary airport transportation from early morning to late at night. The free shuttle also transports guests to a rental-car center separate from the airport, and to the BART station at the Network Associates Coliseum (formerly the Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum). Downtown Oakland is 8 miles from the hotel and San Francisco is 18 miles away. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the lobby for guests with laptops equipped for Wi-Fi (adaptor kits are not available). Guests can also use a computer in the lobby which has high-speed Internet access (surcharge). The hotel has an outdoor pool, an indoor spa tub, and a fitness center on site. Four meeting rooms include two small suites, a boardroom, and a conference room that accommodates 75 people. Room service is available in the evenings. Parking is complimentary, and guests who stay at least one night can also park at the hotel for $20 while they travel for up to two weeks (price is subject to change).

The fitness room, which is open from early morning to late at night, contains a stationary bicycle, a treadmill, and a multi-station weight machine. Many recreational activities are available in the Bay Area, from running and in-line skating in local parks to yoga and Pilates at area health clubs and studios. The San Leandro Marina is 4 miles from the hotel, and contains two golf courses and a driving range. There are also several tennis courts at parks within 8 miles of the hotel. | Does not have restaurant service on weekends, cleaning service is very slow and late, front desk clercks are VERY rude and will charge you for a whole extra day if you want to check out a few minutes late because your flight leaves late or for any reason, other hotels will charge you half day for late check out but NOT this one!!

| The Courtyard by Marriott in Oakland, CA was convienient to get to from the freeway, car rental lot, shopping and to and from the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. It will be my first choice when I am in the Bay Area!!

| It's a nice hotel, but it's near the airport, and like most airports, the nicest parts of town are elsewhere, so you really need a car if you are going anywhere other than the airport

| The rooms were nice and the hotel would have been great but the lounge the website talks about is only 2 seats. There is no bar like other hotels and it only stays open until 10pm, even on New Year's Eve!!

| When I checked in at 1:00 am and asked if I could buy time on the computer to print my Southwest boarding pass for the next morning the clerk told me he would do it and have it at the front desk for me in the morning. When I went to the desk to retrieve it, he had never done, they had trouble finding the confirmation number I left him. Later when we needed a shuttle to the airport that supposedly runs every twenty minutes, the driver was going to lunch and it took 20 minutes for them to find someone to drive.
