| basically i thought the rooms were average size not what i read on the site when i looked up the hotel. food expensive, I also think a little convenience or last minute shop should have been located there I almost died of thirst because i could,t find anyplace to go and buy refreshments to have on hand in my room. The casino robs you quickly.

| I stayed for one night at the Sam's Town Hotel & Casino in Shreveport, La. and I wish I could have stayed longer. Not only were the rooms large and nice, ladies you will love the bathroom and bed, but also the buffet, and the casino were as enjoyful. If you don't want to fly to Vegas but want the excitement, please consider a night or 2 at Sam's Town.

| One would think that you'd get killed on the price at casino hotels, but this was a very nice surprise. The rooms are quite luxurious, and the amenities are copious. Be aware that you can be nickel-and-dimed to death- it costs a bit to work out in the (very impressive) gym, you have to use their internet (again, another charge), but the hotel is wonderfully located, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

| For the price of the room, I expected a more posh setting and more conviences than I recieved. I recieved instead a regular type hotel room with just the minimum commodities. This was extremely dissappointing. Not only was there hardly any commodities, but the room service was horrid--not at all what you would expect from a well known Boyd gaming hotel.

| I was actually a little impressed with this hotel. I stay in Vegas a lot and did not really expect much of the hotel before I arrived since it was a small river boat casino. For a standard room, my rood was just as nice as anything else I have stayed in as far as standard rooms go. The hotel staff seemed very friendly. I would recomend eating at the steak house in side the hotel, the staff there were very curtious and friendly. It was a really nice meal. The pool area was a little small but they did have a bar and food service avaliable pool side. If I am back in Shreveport, I would stay here again.
