    Hotel Panorama Amenities
A lobby computer provides high-speed Internet access for a surcharge. A small salon with green-brocade seating and Murano glass light fixture supplies a quiet conversation/reading area containing original Impressionist-style paintings of historical Venice. The hotel staff speaks English.

    Recreation
The Lido of Venice, a slender, 11.5-km (7.25-miles) island facing the Adriatic Sea that lies a 12-minute waterbus ride east of central Venice, is the city's playground, especially in summer. Year-round, visitors rent bicycles to explore the island, play golf on a course at the island's southern tip 8.5 km (5.25 miles) from the hotel, or take horseback rides.

Much of the Lido's eastern shoreline features public beaches, but there are also many private beaches furnished with cabanas that can be rented by the day from about June 1 to September 1. Cabanas are expensive, often costing as much, or more, than visitors' hotel rooms. For guests staying a minimum of two nights, the hotel offers complimentary use of beach cabanas, umbrellas, and lounge chairs located across the width of the island 600 meters (656 yards) away.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

    Features
What to expect: Featuring beige-marble floors with gold accents, pale-yellow walls with white-stucco moldings, and pale-amber Renaissance-style Murano glass light fixtures, hallways exemplify the hotel's ambience of cool, light colors, and restored decor.

Amenity highlights: For guests staying a minimum of two nights, the hotel offers complimentary use of cabanas located across the width of the island 600 meters (656 yards) away in a private section of the Lido's famous Adriatic Sea beaches. During warm weather, guests enjoy their complimentary European-style cold breakfast buffet on a second-story terrace offering a view of Venice across the lagoon. In winter, breakfast is served in a lagoon-view room/bar.

Insider tip: Lined by shops, cafés, and restaurants, the broad main street that extends from the Lido's waterbus stop on Venice Lagoon and the Adriatic Sea beaches begins a few meters from the hotel.

A complimentary European-style cold breakfast buffet is provided each morning during summer on a second-story terrace offering a view of Venice across the lagoon . On winter mornings, breakfast is served in a breakfast room/bar with a marble floor, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lagoon, potted plants, and a Murano glass chandelier. The bar is open for cocktails and espresso from mid-morning to evening, with summer service available on the terrace.

The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are numerous dining options within the surrounding area.

The hotel is not near the main area of Venice and the isle it sits on offers a good choice of places to eat. The staff was very attentive and the room was very clean. Although it advertised a view of the canal, it was more of a partial view if you didn't mind standing up on the room footstool to see it.

The Hotel Panorama is not located in Venice. It is located on and island called "Lido". It is very easy to get to and from Venice and only takes about a 10-15 minute water bus ride to St. Marks square. The Hotel is facing the water and has a view of Venice from most of its windows. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very well maintained. The rooms are a good size but if you stay on the 3rd floor you will have a room in the "attic". The room we were in only had a very small window that you had to step up on a wooden step to look out. The room was larger than others though and had a couch. The bathroom was also bigger than the other rooms and actually had a full size jacuzzi bath tub, while the other rooms had only showers. I have stayed at this hotel twice once in the "attic" and once in a regular room. Both times I enjoyed myself and would go back to that hotel again.

I couldn't believe the hotel for the price. It was totally amazing. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but when you get inside you'll be pleasantly surprised. The rooms are a bit small, but if you're spending too much time thinking about it, you are missing out on all of what Venice has to offer.

This hotel was great with a very helpful staff and clean, but small, rooms. It was extremely easy to find and right next to the vapretto stop. We found delightful restaurants right around the the hotel. The breakfast was typical--a cold, modest buffet-- but the service and choices were good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for the local flavor of Venice without the noise and crowds of the tourist sections. If you go in the summer--this is definitely the place to stay since the beautiful Lido beaches are just a couple of minutes away!

This hotel is very conveniently located, easy to get to and from Marco Polo airport, short boat ride to the Venice lagoon. Hotel staff is very professional and helpful, speak English well, and are knowledgeable and informative. Went there for honeymoon and we are very glad that we stayed at the Panorama.

Hotel was located right off the water bus at the Lido stop. It was very easy to find. When we checked in, the front desk staff gave us a map and explained the sights to see around Venice. Most staff spoke English very well. The room was beautiful and had a view of the lagoon. The breakfast room was cozy and there was plenty to choose from.
