| Not bad for young kids on spring break, but not a great place for a business stay.

| Tropical Winds is a family friendly hotel with a laid back atmosphere. Rooms are basic with a kitchenette. Beds are in decent condition with clean and crisp sheets. Also a small table with 4 chairs fills out the room. With limited ammenities available service was good. Breakfast in the resturant was of good quality at a great price with excellent service. The 2 pools were clean and comfotable but it seemed like a couple of jacuuzi's were missing as there weren't any on property. The grounds are kept up very nicely with a fresh landscape and newer fencing all around.

| Excellent value for beachfront. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Onsite cafe very reasonably priced. Away from boardwalk area, but convenient to everything. We will return.

| Hotel was great, right on the beach and the room was big compared to other king size rooms we've stayed in. Away from the hustle and bustle but a perfect place to just relax and have a good time on the beach.

| The Tropical Winds was in a great location and the pool was nice. We did have a problem with roaches in our room and did report it to the front desk. They did not offer to move ur to another room but only said they would call pest control. The best thing about the hotel was the fact that they offered beach towels by the door as you started out to the beach. Receiving a phone call was a problem. Family who called after 10:00 pm often could not get an answer at the front desk. Staff were not as friendly as we expected. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate this hotel about 6.

| We stayed at this hotel last weekend. It needs some updating and a good cleaning. The restaurant only accepts cash, which is an issue if you do not carry it. Our room also was not clean when we arrived. The pools also needed to be cleaned, the water was green!

| The beach view from the balcony was awesome. The room overall was excellent, except for the first day we checked in we found a dirty wash rag on the shower curtain rod and a lot of hair behind the bathroom door that was never cleaned. Over all the room was extremely pleasant. The cafe was quaint and reasonably priced, with a very friendly waiter. Although they should have longer hours.
