Grand Lido Braco Resort & Spa All Inclusive Amenities
Isolated from the 2,000-foot, clothing-mandatory beach is a separate nude section featuring gardens, a beach, an immense free-form pool with swim-up bar, two 10-person spa tubs, a tennis court, and a clubhouse serving light breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.

A health spa offers massages, facials, and body scrubs and wraps and includes men's and women's saunas and steam rooms. A fitness center overlooks the ocean and contains cardio machines, free weights, and a Universal gym and workout room for aerobics, Pilates, and yoga classes. A beauty salon offers paraffin treatments, waxing, hair braiding, and hair and nail care, with one manicure and pedicure per guest per stay as part of the All Inclusive Plan. Surcharges are assessed for all other spa and beauty treatments.

An air-conditioned, Jamaican-decor disco offers DJ music nightly, along with cabaret performers and floor shows on some nights. A second-floor, open-air games room adjacent to an air-conditioned card room contains pool and Ping-Pong tables. An air-conditioned "meditation room" features overstuffed pink-and-and-white seating, with matching drapes and a pink-blossom carpet.

A nurse and chiropractor are available around the clock. Shopping choices comprise a gift shop, a logo shop, a beachwear/resortwear shop, a jewelry shop, and outdoor vendors selling local arts and crafts. Botanical signs identify trees, shrubs, and flowering plants in the resort's extensive tropical gardens.

Lidosine service is available for guests who booked a Royal garden view or One-bedroom Au Natural category and are traveling between the Montego Bay Airport and both Grand Lido resorts. Lidosine features include a refrigerator stocked with complimentary bottled water, soft drinks, and Red Stripe beer, custom interior, and private restroom. Amenities also include a SuperClubs Airport Reception Lounge where guests can relax while awaiting transportation. Subject to availability.

Recreation
Surrounded by a sundeck furnished with thickly cushioned lounge chairs, a 250-foot-long free-form pool contains a swimup bar and is paired with a 10-person spa tub. Another 10-person spa tub lies toward one side of the resort adjacent to the Beach House's 24-hour snack bar. The resort's 2,000-foot beach features three flat-water swimming coves protected by artificial reefs, hammocks, thatched shades, and thickly cushioned lounge chairs.

A separate nude sunbathing section features an immense free-form pool with swimup bar, two 10-person spa tubs, a tennis court, and a beach isolated from the clothing-mandatory beach.

The All Inclusive Plan includes basic instruction and use of kayaks, pedal boats, windsurfers, and snorkeling and scuba-diving gear. Also included are water skiing and glass-bottom-boat, snorkeling, and scuba-diving excursions. For a surcharge, a dive center provides a scuba-diving certification course. Pond fishing is available twice weekly.

Please note: The scuba-diving certification course will no longer be included in the All-Inclusive Plan as of January 1, 2005. It will be available for a surcharge of $70 per person.

The resort's par-3, 9-hole executive course; three tennis courts (two lighted); aerobics, Pilates, and yoga classes; and croquet are all part of the All Inclusive Plan. Also included is transport to, and greens fees at two 18-hole championship golf courses, one at Breezes Golf & Beach Resort in Runaway Bay 14 miles (22.5 km) away and the other at Ironshore Golf Course in Montego Bay 22.5 miles (36 km) away. (Clubs, carts, mandatory caddy not included.)

The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the resort; fees may apply.

Features
What to expect: Replicating the town of Falmouth's central square--including a "Town Hall" reception area, "Court House" conference center, fountain, and cobblestone streets--the resort invites adults (minimum age 16) into a gingerbread village with a strolling band, vendors, and a "fruit lady" dispensing exotic fruits. Even at full occupancy, the 85-acre resort offers ample relaxation room.

Amenity highlights: A 250-foot-long free-form pool is paired with a 10-person spa tub. The main pool will be closed October 25, 2004 until mid-November 2004. The au natural pool and spa tubs will still be available to guests. All other water sports activities also will continue to be available. A 2,000-foot beach features three flat-water swimming coves. A separate section for nude sunbathing includes a pool, spa tubs, and a beach isolated from the clothing-mandatory beach. The All Inclusive Plan includes use of kayaks, pedal boats, windsurfers, and snorkeling and scuba diving gear, as well as water skiing and glass-bottom-boat, snorkeling, and scuba diving excursions.

"Lidosine" transportation service is available for guests in who book a Royal garden view or One-bedroom Au Natural category and are traveling between the Montego Bay Airport and both Grand Lido resorts. Experience was average. Rooms were nice. Hotel sponsored tours were over priced and typically did not messure up to what was advertised.

We have heard nothing but great things about this resort so we were super excited for our vacation in April. I have to admit I felt the resort was very average, besides the food. We were impressed with the food choices for an all- inclusive resort. (lamb chops were great!) The activity's they have at night would be great but no one shows up! If you are in your 20's or 30's and like to hang out with others your age... well, this is probably not the place. Definitly an older crowd and they will try to talk you in into the nude side your entire stay! Supposidly it is more fun on the other side. We did walk over at night and the pool and the beach looked nicer than the textile side. The grounds were kept up well but the actual rooms have plenty of room for improvement! Just like other reviews we didn't have much hot water either but warm enough to take a shower. If you are in your 50's or older and just want to relax, this might be the place for you. If you are in your 30's and like to have night life and things to do during the day consider something else. Despite the older crowd we still enjoyed ourselves but won't be going back.

Our visit to Grand Lido Braco from April 7-12,2006, was one of our best vacations ever. The beauty of this resort and the friendliness of all the staff were incomparable. Our room was the least expensive room available, but was lovely and impeccably clean. The view from our balcony was of beautiful, lush gardens. The entertainment was well done. The pools, hot tubs, and beach left nothing to be desired. The padded lounge chairs were everywhere, along with the foam mats for floating. Loved riding the gentle waves, and floating in the pool, too. There were plenty of games and water sports, and abundant food and drinks. And best of all were all the friendly people we met, MANY of whom were repeat guests. Grand Lido Braco is a place that leaves you wondering when you can possibly get away to come here again!

The hotel at the Super Club resort Grand Lido Braco was great. We had a second floor room (first floor would be preferred for return trips) on the AN beach. We were located between the beach and pool...and very close to the clubhouse. It was a wonderful experience.

This hotel leaves much to be desired. It's a nice enough property but the beach is paltry, the staff somewhat inattentive, the pool slightly dirty, service and food are mediocre. While not super expensive, this isn't a cheap vacation either and I think you can find better value for your money elsewhere. That being said, it was a relaxing enough vacation but I wouldn't return nor would I recommend to others.

The staff is very friendly. There is something to do every day ranging from watersports to eating to dancing to shows and more! The spa is awesome. What can I say, this place is great. There is an au naturel beach that is not large, but soft sand, easy access (no rocks) into the water, there is a row of rocks out a ways to break the waves to make it easier to enjoy the ocean. The regular beach is a nice walk and there are bars along the beach and everything is easy access, the gym equipment is top of the line, great view of the ocean while you work out. Food is great and plenty of it. There is more than one clubhouse if you are into games, pool, or ping-pong (table tennis). The plants and vegetation are great.

The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We had an oceanview room and it was lovely. You need water shoes because the ocean floor is rocky. We had a brief problem with maid service but the problem was handled quickly and efficiently once we brought it to their attention.
