| We go to Madison frequently for business and pleasure. This was our first time staying at this property. The location was close to shopping, the university, capitol and great restaurants. The complimentary breakfast buffet made it a great value. The "Sleep Number" bed in our room gave us a free chance to try this bed out too. I would like to see them add pay per view movies to the room amenities, for those lazy afternoons.

| The hotel was nice and clean-white sheets shows cleanliness. Stayed only two nights and linen was changed. Restaurants and shopping very convenient. Children soccer teams, etc. should be restricted to the bottom floor only, so as to not bother other guests.

| Because none of the room cleaning staff spoke English, we could not communicate our needs. Room cleaning staff would continually forget towels and other misc. items.

| We reserved a non-smoking room, but none was available when we checked in. We were given a smoking room without any apology from the staff. The halls reeked of smoke, but the room was ok, until we turned down the bed: the sheets stank of smoke, and my husband and I both were unable to sleep from the resulting allergies. The room was freezing, and the heat control useless: when I twice turned on the heat, an unbearable acrid, burning oil smell filled the room. There were no extra blankets in the room: I eventually used a towel over the covers to stay warm. There was trash on the floor from the previous guest ~ not much, but the room hadn't been cleaned well. The sink is in the bedroom, not in the bathroom, and there was no hot water in the morning. This is a one star hotel.

| when we first checked in, the non-smoking room as clearly a smoking room. The staff was quick to fix the situation. The new room was great. The pool was fun for the kids and the location was perfect for us needing to be mostly on the west side.

| The hotel has a work out center open all night and a indoor pool and jacuzzi open until midnight. There is a restaurant and jazz club open for three meals a day which also supplies room service. We were very pleased with our stay there.
