| The Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel is the newly renovated Fulton Building constructed in 1906. Built of granite, brick and copper, this historic building is detailed with several Renaissance revival elements including a copper-roofed rotunda and a set of mythical winged dragons visible upon entering the hotel. The copper restoration project was the largest of its kind in the eastern United States since the Statue of Liberty restoration in 1986. Marble, leaded glass and mosaic tile are featured in the hotel lobby where an upscale restaurant, bar and lounge are located. // Wired for business and designed for pleasure, the Pittsburgh Renaissance Hotel is the hospitality equivalent of the theatre. A grand marble staircase leads from the lobby to the second level which in combination with the third level offers over ten thousand square feet of meeting and function space. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh's cultural district two blocks from the convention center and within walking distance of the Andy Warhol Museum, the Byham Theatre, Heinz Hall and Heinz Field. PNC Park is a five minute walk away across the Clemente Bridge.

| We had a great stay while we were in town to see the Steelers! The hotel room was very spacious, extremely clean, and more than comfortable. The room service that we ordered was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Pittsburgh. We cannot wait to get back to visit!

| My friend and I stayed at this hotel because we were going to a baseball game at PNC Park. The hotel is located right on Clemente Bridge that you walk across to get the ballpark so it was extremely convenient. The room we had was on the sixth floor and it was huge and beautiful. We had room service and it was quick and friendly. The only thing we had trouble with was getting recommendations from the hotel staff for dinner, but otherwise it was a fantastic place to stay. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again. Oh, and if you don't want to pay the $24 for valet parking, just park in the garage across the street for less. For female travelers, I didn't ever feel unsafe in the area, but I wouldn't walk around alone at night.

| We enjoyed our most recent stay. We have stayed at this hotel several times and each time is better than the last. The hotel is at a great location. We were extremely satisfied with the room, and the amenities of the hotel. And the bed was the most comfortable I have ever felt!

| Stayed 3 nights while attending a convention. Easy walk along the river to the convention center. The refurbished lobby is beautiful - vaulted ceilings, lots of marble but still a very comfortable atmosphere. The room was big, clean and comfortable with a nice view of the river - bridges, stadium, etc. Nice location in the theater district with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Very good experience.

| It just doesn't get any better than this...the beds are made of clouds I am sure of it. The service is perfect from valets to room service, the restaurant has some of the best food in Pittsburgh. After several tries at other hotels we now never stay anywhere else, making our reservations for our next trip when we finish the current trip! Do yourself a favor and stay here to be reminded of what luxury is...Enjoy!

| My room on the 14th flook looked across the river to the baseball stadium. The bed and bedding were first class, and the bathroom elegant and functional. The room had the added bonus of being perfectly quiet.

| My husband and I are frequent weekend visitors to Pittsburgh but this was our first stay at the Renaissance. We were very happy with the staff (esp. the doorman and the bell captain). The Concierge never seemed to be available and we usually ended up relying on the bell captains (who were extremely helpful and knowledgeable). We highly recommend the Opus restaurant, too. Our only problem is that the Renaissance room rates are a little pricey. We ended up here because it was the only room available downtown. The restaurant prices were rather reasonable for such a fine restaurant. We definitely will stay there again but we need to save up for it first.
