Features
What to expect: Designed for discriminating adults seeking to avoid crowds and noise, Monte Carlo offers a relaxing, Mediterranean atmosphere for gaming and dining, and spares guests from having to traipse through the casino to reach lodging-wing elevators. Amenity highlights: A flowering garden of ponds, boulders, and waterfalls contains three pools and a looping, flowing 300-foot river; guests can float down on rented tubes. The expansive, lagoon-style main pool remains open year-round. A 90-by-75-foot pool thrills children by periodically generating waves. A 10-person spa provides soothing soaking. Away from the water action, a secluded sundeck next to a large rock-and-waterfall formation provides tranquil sunning space. Insider tip: Resembling the true Monte Carlo's old-world elegance, the resort's grand facade offers exceptional photography opportunities. Guests especially enjoy posing by the ornate fountain.

| No problems here folks! If you don't have a good time at the Monte Carlo then you have a black cloud over your head! Slots machines payed very well. Some complain about long check-in lines ( What can one expect when 100 quest show up at a time)but they move very fast! Over all we are very pleased and will stay there again. Enjoy!!

| Pools were great (and convenient to get to). Pool side service was great. Shade and seating plentiful (a very pleasant surprise). Reasonably priced dining was very convenient and affordable for families for breakfast and lunch (Starbucks, dollar menu at McDonalds, omelets, pancakes available at Nathans inside the hotel). However, rooms were dirty (my nieces knees would get dirty crawling on the carpet in the room). Linens were stained and there was an obvious hole on one of the bedspreads. Bathroom floor was never cleaned. My sister's room's condition was the same as ours and two couples I spoke to at the pool had similar complaints. We were surprised at the condition of the rooms having stayed here in the past with no issues (the people I spoke to at the pool had the same comment-no issues in the past).

| I just returned from Monte Carlo and I was very happy with my stay. Room was clean and well maintained, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Unlike the previous reviewer, I found the waitresses in the casino extremely quick with a drink, I almost couldn't finish them fast enough (and I'm a drinker!).

| Stayed the last week of August - wonderful hotel - clean & QUIET rooms, casino didn't stink of smoke. Staff helpful. Room was ready within 15 minutes of arriving. Downsides: overpriced for food - look elsewhere for better deals, the lazy river was overcrowded, and you'll die of thirst in the casino before a waitress surfaces to take a drink order. Overall, a good choice - good accommodations - would stay there again.

| After reading some of the reviews in the past few months, I thought I might be sorry that I booked here. I must say that I never experienced one negative thing that I read about. The food was good, and so was the service.Every buffet in Vegas has a waiting line. I've stayed in 5 star hotels and heard water running thru pipes while I was trying to get to sleep. I think some people just want to complain about anything! For the money you will pay to stay at this hotel with Expedia you will definately enjoy your stay. I was here over the 4th of July and am sorry I have a trip pre-booked over Labor day at another hotel. From now on I wont hesitate to stay here!

| Never stay at this hotel. We stayed, renting 2 rooms,July9,06 thru July13,06 Never again, Extremely hot, which we expected but we did not expect our power to be off from one a.m. till4a.m no air, lights, ort.v. in July! Plus we werent even notified of this until evenings of, by a note slipped under the door. Not to mention the ripped sheets they made our bed with. The night we arrived, the desk clerk seemed to be really bothered by my request to be on the same floor as my daughter, very rude .Stay anywhere else!!!

| We stayed in this hotel in the July 4th week. However, Monte Carlo was not too crowded. We are really impressed that we can still smell fresh air at the casino floor! That's especially nice when you travel with kids. We have 4 people 2 rooms. On the day we check-in, there was no 2 rooms available on the same floor, but they offer to switch room for us on the next day. And they give us 2 connecting rooms at the 11th floor, which was the hightest floor we can get to for the amount we paid. One complain is that I found a live cockcroach in the King-bed room on the 3rd floor where I'd stayed the 1st night! Yuck! But no more bugs after we move to the 11th floor. Don't feel that the carpets are very clean, recommend bringing slippers. The bed was very comfortable. A little on the soft side, just the way I like it. The furnishing is a bit old. Bathroom tub of the 1st night has plumbing problem. With its relatively low rate, I think this hotel is good.

| Extremely pleasant stay. Only problem was the air conditioning in our room didn't seem to work properly, (of course it was over 100 degrees outside.) The room was very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. It was a little easier to make your way around this hotel as opposed to some of them in vegas.

| So far I have been to 6 different hotels in Vegas this year and this hotel was by far the most comfortable and pleasant experience. The room was clean, the beds were fluffy, and the staff was friendly!
