Maui Parkshore Amenities
The four-story, 64-unit Maui Parkshore offers guests the advantages of a large lanai (patio or balcony) facing the ocean across the street, a low rate, and a central location in Kihei near the town's best public-park beach, Kamaole III.

|
Recreation
The resort contains a shuffleboard court. Many other recreational opportunities exist in South Maui, including four resort golf courses and one public course within 5 miles of Maui Parkshore. The following recreational activities are available throughout the area, as well as the ones listed below: deep-sea fishing, skydiving, parasailing, helicopter/airplane sightseeing, nature/wildlife tours, mountain biking, submarine excursions, and adventure rafting.

Features
What to expect: Guests enjoy comfortable, spacious living units without much in the way of hotel amenities, aside from the pool, saunas, shuffleboard court, and barbecue grills. Maui Parkshore guests are on their own to enjoy the Sun Coast as they wish. Amenity highlights: The largest of three public-park beaches and the only one with off-street parking, Kamaole III, lies across the street from Maui Parkshore. Like all beaches in South Maui, it's uncrowded. There's good snorkeling among rocks and coral. Insider tip: Large, beautiful Keawakapu Beach begins in front of the Mana Kai Resort a few minutes' drive from Maui Parkshore. Next to the Mana Kai is a public parking lot. Signs point the way to the beach, which offers great snorkeling along its rocky northern terminus, terrific boogie boarding when the tradewinds blow, and long, tropical-fantasy walks. (Buildings along the beach seldom exceed palm-tree height, somewhat preserving the illusion the beachfront is undeveloped.)
Numerous dining opportunities exist along South Maui's Sun Coast.

| Excellent location, although South Kihei Road is very busy and can be noisy. Extremely clean, beautiful landscaping. Positively LOVED this place. We looked around Maui while we were there and we got lucky getting this condo. Other condos just weren't as nice.

| We took the kids with us, so this condo worked out well. The unit we stayed in has a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The beach is right across the street and shopping/restaurants are a few blocks away within walking distance. Be sure and hit Walmart when you leave the airport and stock up on basic food, drink and snacks. Eating out every meal gets expensive, so having some meals on the lanai was very nice. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking, coffee pot, microwave, fridge, washer and dryer. Just like being home! There was cable access for laptops too. We had a great time, even if it rained a few days. Be sure to do a lot of snorkling! Sea turtles, dolfins and so many colorful fish! The only part that sucked was coming back to reality!

| The Good-Awesome location in Kihei, directly in from of Kam III beach and close to convenient store, gas station, local bars and other great beaches. The view described as "partial ocean view" was actually much better than I anticipated. A good supply of linens and well stocked kitchen was available. The rooms and bathrooms were acceptably clean. Service was decent. The pool was pretty good too. The bad and ugly-light fixtures and fans were extremely old-like everything was purchased at the local Goodwill. Old outdated, stained furniture (looked like early 80's) and gross looking carpet. There were also ants in the kitchen. The whole place was in desparate need of a makeover.

| The Parkshore was not by any means a luxury stay, but for the price and locale you can't do much better. It was a 1 minute walk to the beach, where you could enjoy white sandy beaches. You are also a 5-10 minute walk, towards Mauna Kai, to the next set of beaches which were even nicer. Shopping for basics was 5 minutes away. You will enjoy your stay here....but remember, you should be going to Kihei and Wailia to NOT stay in your room but to enjoy the amazing paradise !! Ciao and Aloha
