| My stay at this bed and breakfast was excellent. The meals were just as excellent. It is very hard to find a place to stay when traveling and this is one of the few places that I would strongly recommend to any body traveling in this area. Attention to detail is something that most hotels luck, but in this bed and breakfast that was not the case the owner of this stablishement is something that took very seriously, my stay was excellent and I would defenitely go back.

| This B&B is just adequate, nothing special. The neighborhood is a bit of a concern and I was worried about my car. It was nice but nothing to "write home about".

| If you enjoy B&B's as a change from the uniformity of chain hotels you'll be delighted by the Mauger. The decor is a mix of antique, art deco, and modern furnishings - and somehow they all come together. The location is safe during the day, but we were advised not to walk the neighborhood at night. The staff is cheerful and the buffet breakfast is delicious. On the downside, the rug in our room needed shampooing, and internet access was spotty. Mini-bar prices are refreshingly low, and free cheese, crackers, wine, cookies and muffins are provided in the small lobby during the late afternoon. If you stay, peek into the other rooms - they're all quite different. All in all a very good value for the price.

| We had a good time at this B& B and will definitely go back even though the first night was a little rough. We stayed in the "town house" which is really just an apartment in the apartment complex behind the B&B. The first night there was a lot of noise from the nearby apartments which kept two jet-lagged travellers up much of the night. That said, the remaining nights were fine. We really enjoyed talking to the staff. Breakfast was very good (better than most I've experienced but not as good as my favorite).

| This was our first visit to New Mexico and we were pleasantly surprised by the gracious hospitality of the Mauger Bed & Breakfast Inn. We arrived from a particularly difficult flight and were pleased with our welcome and the room. We were in desparate need of TLC and found the wine/cheese and snacks wonderful...plus the smell of baking brownies made us feel at home. The breakfasts were fantastic, beautifully prepared and presented. The recommendation for dinner at the Church Street Cafe was "right on". It was ideally located, between downtown and Old Town. We met some wonderful guests and were well cared for by Innkeepers. We look forward to returning to this hotel and highly recommend it.

| I had a great time during my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, attractive, and in excellent condition. I would have given it straight 5's, but I have downgraded it by 1 point for a reason that may be peculiar to me. I like to be able to keep a room completely dark, and the window shades in my room were not sufficient to do this. The city lights in downtown Albuquerque were a bit bright for my taste during the night. The hotel is conveniently located only a few blocks from the convention center and other central downtown facilities. It is also within walking distance (a long walk, though) from Albuquerque's "old town." In addition to breakfast, they also host a wine and cheese hour every afternoon, and provide snacks and bottled water 24/7.The staff at this B&B was exceptionally friendly and helpful as well. The breakfasts were delicious, and they happily provided recipes at no charge. They also provided maps of the surrounding area, and excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. I had a back problem while I was there, and they happily replaced my desk chair with a different one that had a different style back. All in all, I had a great stay. I look forward to my next trip to Albuquerque.
