| A great place to stay in Zona Rosa. The location is great and the service was excellent when we were there. We have been twice at this hotel. Concierge service was excellent and always willing to assist for all issues. They provide loaner umbrellas for the rain. Al Vino Restaurant provided great food at a reasonable price.

| Galeria Plaza Hotel has great service, the rooms are clean, staff are bilingual, room rates are great... BUT using an extras there are a bit expensive. Eating (and drinking) elsewhere would easily solve that problem though. They don't charge extra for using the pool or gym. The staff are very helpful and there are taxis stationed outside the hotel with very reasonable fares - ask the concierge to get the taxi for you to make sure you get one of the hotel taxis. I would definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Mexico City. Oh, and the hard beds didn't bother us at all.

| Located in Zona Rosa section of Mexico City, the Galeria Plaza is in the perfect spot to visit the city. The English speaking staff couldn't do enough for us. It is within walking distance of dining, clubs and just around the corner from el Angel (one of the focal points of the city). Other than the very hard bed, our stay in Galeria Plaza was perfect.

| This hotel in the heart of the Zona Ros" (pink zone or red-light district) night-life. With tons of shops, restaurants and clubs/bars, you can't go wrong. The service was great, the place was very clean and the concierge nearly bent over backwards to make sure we got to see the best of the city. One suggestion was the Ballet Folklorico de Mexico at the Palacio de Bellas Artes (fine arts palace)--simply incredible. They also arrange for daily tours that pick you up the front door. They have a small gym and a small and shallow outdoor pool and there are plenty of chairs for those who just like to take the sun in. If you're a runner, I'd suggest el parque de Chapultepec which is up the street (Paseo de la Reforma). the hotel provides transportation but be ready to pay 3 or 4 times the cost of an off-the-street cab. They'll be happy to flag one down for you. It doesn't seem to be a well known hotel with the cabbies so make sure you let them know that it's near Paseo de la Reforma and Hamburgo or that it's near el angel de la libertad. Take a stroll around the area.. the scene is very lively and for all walks of life. It does have a noticeable gay population which mostly along Londres street. The Museo de Antropologia is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel and it's a definite must-see. Sundays are free for everyone.

| I read the reviews before booking this hotel, being a little skeptical about the good things people said. Now after a 4-day stay as a first-time traveller to Mexico City, I found that everything in the previous reviews are true for my own experience. There is really nothing more that I can add. We did have an upgrade to the 11th floor business section with the advantage of free breakfast and afternoon refreshments.
