Radisson Kauai Beach Resort Amenities
The Boutique Spa & Fitness Center offers various massage techniques, facials, body treatments, and workout equipment. An $8 per-person admission fee (price subject to change) includes use of weight and exercise equipment, juice bar, and sauna. On Monday nights, a luau begins on the lawn and moves to the ballroom for a feast. An activity desk in the lobby books helicopter sightseeing flights to the North Coast, boat trips up the Wailua River, and any other activity available on Kauai. The manager’s evening cocktail hour is followed by a Polynesian show, and live entertainment appears nightly in Shutters Lounge. Airport transportation is complimentary, and high-speed Internet access (surcharge) is available in the coffee shop.

Recreation
In addition to the resort's four tennis courts, Wailua Golf Course is just a five-minute drive north. The Wailua River, about two miles north, is the longest navigable river in Hawaii and is popular for boating and kayaking trips. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

What to expect: Secluded yet readily accessible both to Lihue Airport and to North and South Kauai, this resort caters to families and vacationers seeking a full sun-sand-swim experience with a pronounced Hawaiian accent.
Amenity highlights: In the resort's center is a pool complex consisting of three large free-form pools surrounding a rock-garden island, and a large spa secluded in a nearby grotto. Closer to the beach, a huge freshwater pool shaped like a lagoon offers a sand beach and views of the surf just off the three-mile natural beach. Directly in front of the resort's long sunning lawn is a 3-mile beach—a great spot for exploring tide pools, beachcombing, watching the Hawaiian Monk seals that often rest on the sand, and taking long walks. Insider tip: A complimentary manager’s cocktail hour is hosted each evening, followed by a Polynesian show/torch lighting ceremony performed by children from a local hula halua (school).
Naupaka Terrace Steak House - The place for a buffet or à la carte breakfast, this restaurant becomes a seafood/steak house for dinner and offers prime-rib/seafood buffets on Friday and Saturday evenings. Shutters Lounge & Bar - Offering live music nightly, Shutters serves appetizers and tropical drinks in a relaxed setting of plush seats and ceiling fans. Driftwood Sandbar and Grille - Adjacent to the sand-beach pool, this is the spot for sandwiches and light food during the day, and steak, coconut shrimp, and tropical drinks after dark.
Cascades Snack Bar - Sunbathers around the three-pool complex come here for light meals and beverages. Paradise Roasters - Located in the shopping arcade, this coffee shop roasts its own beans and also provides high-speed Internet access (surcharge). A manager’s evening cocktail hour is followed by a Polynesian show.

| I arrived so tired after a 12 hours flight, that I thought the world was ending. I had missed my connecting flight due to a prior airplane clean-up delay. The receptionist immediately upgraded my reservation to an ocean view even though it was not their fault. The bar by the pool is a great place to hang out. I had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant by the pool. The sites are breathtaking. I enjoyed the torch lighting ceremony and the daily Happy Hour!!! The shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful. I truly enjoyed by stay and I would love to visit again for a longer period of time!!! The stay was too short. There is so much to do around the hotel that I did not want to leave the grounds, but the island is truly a garden. I recommend a walk by the ocean in front of the hotel.

| Hello, The room was nice and quit. The bathroom next to the restaurant could have been cleaner (same bundle of hair at same spot in disabled toilet for three days, room service could have cleaned mirror in bathroom in room from spots). The kitchen is overpriced, but they have a nice lounge to sit in and enjoy excellent drinks. Christine

| The Kauai Beach resort made our honeymoon a pleasant experience. The service was excellent and the setting was awesome. My wife and I would definetly stay there again. Top notch through and through.

| The grounds of the hotel were well kept and beautiful. The dining room and food were great. The staff at the desk, the wait staff in the dining room the valets were attentive. Housekeeping staff could use additional training. We had to call for wash cloths to be brought to our room several times and the bathroom was not cleaned very well.

| The Resort was still in the progress of upgrading, so there were still some construction. But who cares, we were out-n-about the island like you should be. The best part, is the location of the Resort. It's midway from either side of the island, and minutes away from the Airport. But because of the location of the Resort, the closest place to walk would be the Highway. All pools were open during our stay but the outside bar/grill was not. Construction didn't interrupt any part of our stay. There aren't any other hotels/resorts anywhere in sight of this Resort. It sits by itself, very quiet, very peacful. If we ever make it back to Kauai, we will stay here again!

| We went to this hotel before and had a very bad experience and thought that we wouldnt go back. Well a little over a year later we decided that we would give them another chance because the rates were pretty good and the grounds were nice too. Having let them know we had a bad time before and were giving them another chance they were very nice and gave us quite a few things for free. The major downside was that we were told they were renavating the hotel because it went under new ownership and that it would be done by the time we got there. Because of the extreme weather they had they could not finish so the grounds were all tore up, the pool bar closed, and certain areas of the hotel tore up. i am sure that as soon as all the work on it is done it will look very nice and be a great place for someone to go and have a pleasant experience but until then maybe consider somewhere else.
