Features
What to expect: Large brass chandeliers illuminate the large marble lobby with its delicate painted murals and Chinese furniture and jardinieres. With 19 meeting rooms and a huge ballroom, the hotel caters mainly to business clients, but its proximity to the boutiques, restaurants, and European ambience of St. Denis Street also attracts leisure travelers.
Amenity highlights: Guests recharge at the indoor lap pool with its spa tub, open until late night, or in the 24-hour well-equipped fitness center, which has windows city views, a TV, lockers, and saunas. The hotel's large restaurant is open all day and has a separate bar area as well as an outdoor terrace overlooking bustling Sherbrooke Street. Wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge in public areas.
Insider tip: Three blocks east on Sherbrooke Street lies Parc Lafontaine, one of the city’s prettiest green areas in any season. Hugh trees line serpentine walks and waterways and the open-air theater offers free concerts and dance performances in summer.
Impressions - This large but intimate restaurant has a small outdoor terrace that’s popular in summer. Continental or full breakfast buffets are served in the mornings. Lunch and dinner are mainly Continental cuisine with lamb, veal, duck, and pasta dishes dominating. The bar and lounge are also housed in this lobby-level restaurant.

| We really enjoyed Montreal and the Double Tree Hotel was a big reason why. It is located in the perfect spot for tourists. It's right on two of the best roads (Rt. Sherbrooke and St. Berri)for getting to any part of the city. The Hotel was really clean, and the rooms were just the right size with an amazing view of the city. We also felt we were in a really safe section of the city. The only complaints is that the food in the morning buffet wasn't that great.
