| Booked twice in Aug'06. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are renovated and the fitness center and the pool are nice (pool a little small for swimming, technically only 15m-long) Breakfast is nice, has a lot of items. Restaurant food could be better. Bar and restaurant understaffed, it takes forever to be served unless you actively chase the servers. Convenient to city centre and convention centre. Adjacent metro station. Also close to Central Station.

| We stayed here in July 2006, and chose this location because it is about a ten minute brisk walk (without luggage in tow!) to the hotel from the Queen Street train station, but a nice policeman saw me walking with our luggage and children at 11PM, and recommended we get a cab, because he said there were a few 'rough spots' along the way late at night. (Cab was only 4 GPB). The hotel was beautiful, looked brand new, and the kids loved swimming in the indoor pool the next morning. The air conditioning was out in our room that night, which was a little rough, considering it was July, but they brought up a fan, which was the best they could do under the circumstances. Also, windows don't open on the 9th floor, where we stayed, so it was very stuffy. Still, they tried their best to accomodate, and called us a cab for the airport first thing in the morning. (18 GBP, a fixed price to the airport.) Suited us well as a place to stay prior to our flight.
