| This resort was situated in a high end residential community with a very scenic drive to the entrance. We chose this resort because of its advertised outdoor pools. We wanted a place to relax after spending time at Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. We were not disappointed because the pool closest to our building was very large and uncrowded and they had probably the best spa pool we have ever encountered. The spa pool was the size of a kiddie pool, the water was hot and clean, and air jets plentiful. We were in the Jamestown building across the main street from the lobby building. We chose the least expensive room because we did not intend to spend any time there. It consisted of a king size bed and a sleep sofa, which was cramped for our family of four. The floorplans we saw made it appear the one bedroom units were much more spacious. There was no restaurant and only a carry out counter in the gift/grocery store. The road (Richmond) with all the restaurants was probably a 10 minute drive away. This hotel worked well for us because we were always on the go for our four day vacation, but would not be good if you just wanted to hang out and not drive your car.

| Hotel service was excellent, with prompt and friendly check-in. I arrived at night and left early in the morning (check-out was at 10am), so I did not get to fully explore the grounds, which were expansive. The Manor Club is a time share "resort," with many low rise buildings set amongst wooded grounds and several pools. The room was some distance from the reception area to the room. The room was what you would expect from Marriot- clean, quiet, tasteful, but not over the top.

| This is a great place, very clean, and super-friendly staff. However, for the price, I would have expected, at minimum, a continetal breakfast. It's situated in a residential community within a golf course. Parking is very limited, so if you come to your room after 8pm, you will have a hard time finding a space. We had to park on a curve in the lot, instead of a designated space. Other than the lack of breakfast and parking, the hotel is great and has many daily activities. Great for a family getaway!!
